Mint Leaf — Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

Absolutely appalling. Our expected delivery time was 7.40pm (a hour after we ordered) at 7.50pm We get a text saying it’s now expected at 8.05pm. At 8.15 still no food. We call and hasn’t even left yet. They said it’ll be Another 10 minutes.. we then received our food it find dishes missing and WRONG. It was also COLD. Obviously been waiting to be delivered for a while or just forgotten about. I called and they offered to send the rest of the food again but would be another 30 minutes. I asked for a refund and got told they could only offer me a discount on my next meal. I never want to order from there again. I obviously don’t want a discount. I wanted my money back and even offered to drive my own food back to receive it. Still wasn’t possible. So I had to agree to have to WHOLE order sent again. And wait again for another 30 minutes. The customer service from the front desk to the delivery driver was just unacceptable. I’m now eating food at 9pm at night that isn’t even to a great quality. DONT EXCEPT AN ORDER IF...

So yesterday was my second time coming here after visiting last week (the week before I had the lamb curry which was 10/10 so nice and clean (as in it wasn’t drowning in oil).

I walked in yesterday and there were ample sofa seating so the server pankaj I asked him if I can sit on the sofa in the middle as the whole sofa row was free , pankaj said no to the middle but put me on the sofa seat right in the corner literally right in the corner!

Not cool Pankaj, Not Cool (this is why service has got 4 stars - being shoved into the corner seat :(

Anyhow after being told where to sit where I didn’t really want to sit (in the corner) I then ordered:

mix grill for 2 Mango lassi And lamb biryani And 1 roti

Alhamdulillah no complaints regarding the food it was enjoyable and tasty and the mixed grill was actually delicious 9/10 with the biryani I would give it a 7.5/10.

The mango lassi I felt could be a little bit thicker but it was refreshing after a long fast.

This is by far, the best Indian restaurant I've been to. The staff were nice and friendly and the food was excellent. We came here today 11th November 2018 for my belated birthday meal. We were ushered to our table, and we were expecting the usual buffet style setting, where you go and serve yourself. This was an a la carte buffet. Wow.... We ordered the starter platter. Oh my God. It was fresh, hot and crispy. The chicken was well marinated, tasty and soft. We ordered our main meal with naan and pilau rice. The main was perfect. The naga curry was delicious, the vegetables were delicious the naan was fresh, hot and soft. All in all, we enjoyed our meal. We couldn't believe what we got for the price. You need to taste the chicken, well seasoned, well cooked, juicy and perfect. We enjoyed the food and ambience. We will definitely visit again soon. I highly recommend...
