Tanya's — Restaurant in East Lindsey

1st time visit ! Came with my wife and we had 2 hot toasted ciabatta sandwiches (Delicious) Yorkshire tea for 2 Lovely pot of tea enough for 4 people which suited me cos I absolutely love tea! And 2 Beautifull cakes (Amazing) Polite very friendly ladies who cleared our table ,very quickly from the 3 previous customers before us . Quite busy as well ,but the food came piping hot and reasonably quick. Don't live too far away maybe 25 mins ,so will definitely return if we are in the area! Highly recommend . I rang Tanya’s to ask whether they cater for people with Coeliac Disease & serve any gluten free food, I was told they didn’t. I was surprised by the blunt response so asked whether the lady on the phone knew anywhere local who did (I’m out of area) she said she didn’t but would ask one of the other girls who work there. I could hear her do this and the person she asked responded with “erm the shop?” I found this really quite insulting as it is exceptionally hard to find places to eat having Coeliac Disease. To hot today inside no fan or any air circulation at all, was ignored and people that came in after us served first, so the special I would have had to was not available so I went without. To noisy inside the coffee machine is nearly deafening and because of this people speak louder bit like when you are in a pub. Prices expensive now they used to be quite reasonable and the worse part of today was the children's seat only has a two way lap belt so my son was able to stand up completely which is very dangerous if he fell off at this height, even when strapped in he could get his legs under the strap. Unfortunately I won't be visiting here...
