The Seathorne Arms — Restaurant in East Lindsey

As soon as we walked in we were excited to see home cooked menues so we sat down no one bothered to seat us which we thought we odd its was 5.50 and we all got our menues in by the bar waiting to be seen lovely lad served my sister she got the offer which was 2 meals for £10 after waiting for the woman behind the bar to serve some other lady that was behind me I finally placed my order which should of been £29 there abouts she said £35.10 which was wrong I asked her why and she said the offer on meals was off which I said been in the queue waiting from 5.50 she wasn't bothered she said she can't do nothing and was so rude I mean like she wanted to hit me rude so I spoke with her and she continued to say no didn't care I had four hungry kids waiting so I did no order and said she was missing out don't think she realize my family would stick by me and cancel orders but they did and the chef came out threatening my sister saying why have you cancelled what's the reason and saying it was only £2.50 what's she moaning over a couple of pound its the principle I personally don't think they liked Liverpudlian s and was prejudice against us I got the last laugh tho they lost out on a big family meal would never go there ever again note to anyone who does go there the front lady is the Most rudest person going!!!! Lovely pub, nice people to drink & have crack with but landlord is rude & arrogant. Been told he doesn't care about locals as he's guaranteed trade from holiday makers! Don't the locals provide a living when it's out of season or quiet. Will not entertain this pub again which is a shame as it could be amazing. In review to the landlords response, I was told this by other locals. Look I am in the hospitality industry and we have been in the pub. No connection with the drinkers, customer service is none existing. Just take take. Not going to get in to a slanging match with the landlord but you need to improve your skills. Such a shame as the place could be amazing. Stop playing the radio for starters and get sky sports instead of putting TV on. If you were that interested in your customers you would invest in them. The bar staff were lovely but unfortunately we went in with our kids on a "pool match" night so while we were enjoying a few games with our kids we were getting the eye from" the team". We had our money down to play again but so did "the team"so as soon as they got the table they very rudely took the table. At no point did they say to us "sorry there's a match tonight so after 7.45 you can no longer play instead one old bloke said right the tables ours and called the landlord even though we still had money for 2 mores games.!! We asked if the pool was over for us and we weren't even acknowledged They were so rude the kids were really disappointed so we left but not before I'd gone to the landlord who did apologize and honestly it's not his fault they were rude.
