This is a tidy cafe along the sea front. Pleasantly decorated and plenty of choice on the menu. On our visit they were only accepting cash which limited us a little on choices, but we went for some hot chocolates and baby chinos, a seafood platter, a beef burger and a fish and chips (which the kids had half each of). They did do children's meals when I asked (not detailed on menu from what we could see), but it was just option of chicken nuggets or fish fingers. The food was good, not the best but nice. It was all well presented and came fairly quickly. The hot chocolates were very nice, and we also eyed up the cake selection - but a limited amount of cash on us held us back! Kids also liked the look of ice cream and milk shake selections, but with the rain hammering down it didn't seem quite the right time! The outside seating area looked like it might be a nice to place to visit if it was hot / sunny. Staff were friendly enough, can't say many of them seemed particularly happy but they certainly weren't rude or anything.

Visited this cafe yesterday for coffee and cake and can honestly say we won't be back. The staff were very dismissive and disinterested and huddled in a group chatting behind the counter. We asked for 3 Lattes and 1 Hot Chocolate, all topped with cream. Firstly the coffees came out without the cream, the they were redone and came back without the coffee.!!!!! As you can see from the photo, they came out in small mugs and the amount of cream we removed and showing on the plate was from ONLY 1 coffee.!!!!! It was far too much, out of proportion and too sickly to have. When we asked to speak the manager, he couldnt have been less interested if he tried and told us "we were not in London" and that "they weren't Costa." He didn't apologise, offer any replacements or refunds, and we had even paid extra for the cream!! We paid nearly £40 for 4 drinks and cheesecakes. Although the cheesecake was nice, the service and attitude were most definitely not.!!

Very poor vegan experience today. Unfortunately the cafe promotes and advertises they have vegan options, but staff front and back are definitely not equipped to deal with dietary requirements such as this. I ordered a hot chocolate and was told they “think” it was vegan- as it didn’t have milk. I also ordered a vegan breakfast- after being told they didn’t do this- i had to point out it was on their menu as an option, this was then delivered with fried eggs on my plate and no staff member had picked this up- I had to send this back, no apology was received at all from front of house members about this, or about the additional wait. The breakfast was also poor, greasy and tasted of oil. The mushrooms were obviously also deep fried and came with the ends of the old fried chips from the basket. I wouldn’t return or recommend.

Brought friends here as they were visiting and had never been to Skegness. The reviews sounded good! 6 meals. Fish and chips x 3 were great. Apart from the pureed peas. Prawn cocktail was truly dreadful. Prawns still partially frozen., presentation 1 just a mound of shredded lettuce and some partially frozen prawns. Yorkshire pudding with beef was great. The only vegan meal was a "miami vegan burger" which was also overcooked and truly dreadful. Seriously you have one vegan meal and it failed in every way. Looked flat, tasted worse as patty overcooked. How you can mess up a simple burger is beyond me. Abd lastly the prawn sandwich. I have no words... The place itself great, lovely. If yiu want a great place to eat fish and chips this would work if you like pureed peas. Anything else buyer beware....

Yes a nice find. A walk on the beach first and then a meal inside. My ESA dog was allowed in on the wood floor seating only, with lead and labels showing. Dogs generally are only allowed outside. Firstly we could not find a menu, so another table gave us theirs. Then we had to go and ask if there was anything else as menu they gave was very minimal. We got a menu. I had a jacket chilli and my companion that day had pull pork nachos. Food was good portion size and hot. Price is average for these days, £15 a dish. There were some very large parties in and the noise was very loud at times. Not a quiet place to eat. Views were great we had a window seat.

Visited for lunch. In early may. Fairly quiet which ment for not a massive wait on food. It was lovely we opted to sit inside mainly due to a small wind outside we didnt want to battle with. We had the seafood platter for 2 £19.95. mozzarella sticks £6.96 and chicken strips £6.95. And it was everything we could want including a nice view outside. We opted for bottles of coke which was £2.50 each which given location i would say is about right in value. Some people might complain about the cost, but we enjoyed the experience and we would definitely recommend and visit again. Visiting on quieter days is probably the best idea.
