I have dined in restaurant many times & had take away endless times. Have always been very happy, More than happy actually!😊 FANTASTIC fresh cooked food for takeaway ALWAYS arrives Hot & fresh out kitchen. I always call Ghorka Palace direct for home deliveries ( have never used delivery websites). On a weekend when I know they get very busy within restaurant. I have called when open to pre-order for a later time in evening. Saves being disappointed or long wait if call @ peak time (TIP👍) Whilst dining in restaurant. Service has ALWAYS been exceptional & All staff are welcoming & friendly. families with children are definitely welcome I have seen this myself. Cater for larger bookings (I would advise book in advance) BEST Nepalese/Indian by far in the Burton & Staffordshire...

The best Indian restaurant for miles. The food is very reasonably priced without sacrificing quality or quantity. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the theming and atmosphere are great too.

Allergens are clearly labelled if you require it and the level of spice for each dish is also clearly labelled. Alcohol is sold at a reasonable price, and you're not permitted to bring your own.

This was the first time we visited and we will definitely be returning.

I do recommend booking in advance especially on weekends as the restaurant isn't huge and looks like it could...

We ordered a takeaway and it was delicious. As a vegetarian, I am often disappointed to receive veggie curries that are just a handful of the same frozen veg mix. I tried the paneer korma here: fantastic sauce and ten very large paneer chunks (resembling a chicken curry in chunk size).

It is a bit pricier than some but everything was scrumptious and the portion sizes are excellent, so you get what you pay for. Tasty, varied dip selection too. Even the chopped onion was marinaded for extra flavour.

Would definitely order again...
