Koriander — Restaurant in East Staffordshire

Both times I have ordered have been terrible both curries were to sweet and tasted like I was eating a dessert... to reply to the owner. I never asked for a refund the first time I called I rang to say ur curry was inedible as it was sickly sweet and no one could of eaten that. You guys offered me a free meal for next time which I toke the offer of. I asked for a reduced sugar curry to help to see if It would be less sweet and it was not I was sickly sweet again. Also the chips were stone cold and the nan bread was soggy and cold also. I have not received a refund so I'm not after that. As I said I did not ask for free food you offered. And being a diabetic does not mean u can't eat sugar that is old fashioned and outdated information. I wanted to inform your customers of how bad the curries actually were both went in the bin barely touched. I had to order from else were and yes I did pay for that and enjoyed there hot...

Terrible experience ordering from this takeaway. I ordered at 7:30pm, it did not arrive until after 10pm. The delivery driver was not apologetic and didn't seem to care. I called Koriander four times during the time of my wait and it was never picked up. I complained via Just Eat and Koriander decided to offer me a £3 refund which does not even cover the £4 I paid for delivery. Clearly the owners do not care for their business or customers as communication was non existent. Which is a shame since I have used Koriander for years, it is evident this is under new management. Food quality was also significantly poorer than it had been previously. I would not surprised to see this takeaway close its doors soon if they show this lack of care for all their customers. Food was ready quick enough, staff were friendly. Mushroom Barji (puri) was nice. Had the tandoori mixed grill, not a lot of meat, lots of veg all felt a bit re warmed! Butter chicken was was quite like korma, not what we usually get from other places and the nan’s where a bit weird, almost like they were pre made, I requested a cheese and chilli and there was a few half melted squares on top with a few chilli’s thrown on too, similar with the other half, bit of cheese bit of garlic thrown on top.

Have had much better from other places.

Vegetable curry sauce to go with tandoori mixed grill was quite weak, tasted watered down, had to whack a load of seasoning in it when I got home.
