We stopped in by pure chance and absolutely loved the experience. The garden area was very comfortable and peaceful and the sea views were beautiful. We ordered some sandwiches (and were pleased to see an option for gluten free bread), accompanied by delicious milkshakes, and we finished with stunning strawberry and cream meringues. Dog friendly, the owner was kind enough to provide a dog bowl and some protection for the milkshakes from the wasps who occasionally visited. We will definitely return.

Luxury tea and food establishment on Lowestoft sea front between the two piers. Huge choice of tea and coffee and the tea is served in the traditional style of being loose in the pot and supplied with a strainer, sugar cubes and tiny jug of milk. Lovely. Bacon rolls cooked exactly as I like them and very tasty. To to it all off, you can sit in the garden, if the weather allows, and enjoy some people watching with a view over the beach and sea.

We had been wanting to visit here for ages but it was never open when we passed! Since the change of ownership they are now open daily so we decided to try them out for a light lunch. Oh my! The food was amazing and the service equally so. We loved the ambiance of the place and the location is fab. Can't wait to return to try their delicious looking scones! Highly recommended!

We were very happy to come across this lovely friendly tea room / cafe on the seafront after a long walk on a rather grey day in Lowestoft! As it was still early, we had fantastic bacon baps - deliciously soft bread, generously buttered and filled with bacon. The lunch selection also looked great - sandwiches and jacket potatoes, lots of scones and the option for a full afternoon tea, which we hope to return for during our stay.

The tea selection was also impressive - mist have been over 20 options, though in the end I opted for a luxury hotels chocolate, which did not disappoint - lots of cream, chocolate buttons and mini marshmallows!

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, providing a highchair for our toddler and waving to our toddler as we left, which she loved. The cafe has a lov sea view and plenty of outside space too.

Definitely a great spot and one we'll be...

Been here last year and came back for the loose leaf teas and sun trap sheltered garden. Really lovely to eat an outdoor lunch looking out to sea... even in mid April. Usual lunch fare of sandwiches, jackets and a couple of savoury pastries - they'd get 5* in my book for some interesting salads. But, the ham was proper thick sliced instead of that slimy processed stuff and the salad garnish had lambs lettuce (not just the frisee lettuce!) with peppers, onions as well a tomato and cucumber. 👍🏻 Luxury coleslaw wasn't but then I'm a fusty coleslaw eater. Partner's jacket spud was declared very tasty. Daughter devoured the milkshake and sausage roll........ 😄 Last year, we had afternoon tea which was really good. The scones were tasty, huge and fresh. Memorable enough...

What a difference new owners make. What a let down! For many years when on holiday in Kessingland, when the previous lady owner and her staff owned the tea room's, we looked forward coming to the Flying Fifteens for lunch, to enjoy the delicious homemade soups, crab salads, lovely strawberry scones, in fact a whole array of beautifully prepared light lunches etc. Last Sunday we arrived for our looked forward to lunch, only to find the offerings are limited to rather indifferent sandwiches, or omelettes served with ice cold limp salad and rather tasteless coleslaw, and the scones of their special strawberry and cream filled scones were stale and dry and the strawberry slices wafer thin. Needless to say we never returned a second time for their now...
