We was so disappointed to wait 1hr 30 mins for our food to arrive without being informed of any delay or apology for the wait . The food was really good and well presented with lots of choice on the menu including vegetarian . We arrived on time and was served complimentary dishes and our drinks and main course order was taken .The restaurant was very busy ,which is obviously a testament to the good food . However .we watched other customers get their food and finish their meals and go before we decided to tell the waitress we was about to leave . We was offered a bottle of wine which was a kind gesture ,but I was driving and not a regular drinker . The waitress said that it wasn't good enough which I had to agree with ,and that we would be compensated on our final bill ...which didn't happen . We are happy to pay for our food and to wait a reasonable amount of time ,but not to be left hanging with no acknowledgement . The staff need to check in and make sure their customers are kept informed of the progress of their order ... And read the reviews fully before commenting .🤷‍♀️
