Fresh cask ales in a traditional local pub. This is also the brewery tap for the Green Jack Brewery.

Excellently kept ales straight from the cask with some others on draft.

Bottles of Baltic Trader were also available and I was advised by a friendly local on how best to pour it, which was greatly appreciated.

The staff were friendly and the pub, even when quiet was a nice place to relax. When it did start getting more busy, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.

Tucked away nicely along the high street this is a traditional watering hole that showcases the local breweries talents. Front bar has some chapel pews & tables for seating with a lovely glowing woodburner fire. While back bar has music, pool table & similar seating. Well worn spit & sawdust style pub with friendly locals & staff. Good choice of ales & ciders, strongest being 8.5% Ripper, which if drunk enough of would rip your brain out & splatter it all...

100% positive review.... two bars rear with pool table and music and quieter front bar. Original home to Greenjack brewery. Lovely selection of in house beers.. supported by a really good offering of ciders.. Really pleasant Sunday evening talking with locals and worked slowly through several excellent beers and eventually a pint of Rhubarb Cider. MANY THANKS again for the barmans...
