I had the loveliest time at Christine’s tea room! The staff is super nice and the food was so tasty and freshly made. We shared 2 bagels - pesto, tomato, mozzarella / hummus, avocado, radish - and the bagel bread was warm 🤌🏼 with some mixed leaf salad on the side. We ate in the yard behind, under a splendid blossoming magnolia. We also ordered 2 drinks: a chai latte and hazelnut iced latte (which actually tasted hazelnut and not just sweetener). The prices are reasonable too for the quality of the service, place and food. We could stay for a couple of hours and staff were not pushy at all, we had time to eat and chat. I will definitely bring my family there next time 💗 (update: I did brought my family 😊 we shared a bagel, salad, scones and lemon meringue cake)

Maeve's is under new ownership and they have carried on where the previous owners left off, good food, very good coffee and the jewel in the crown is the garden, nowhere in Woodbridge has somewhere so pleasant to sit on a hot sunny day with shade from big trees and brollies to sit under. Food and drink have always arrived promptly from friendly staff. One of the few places that charge less for flat white than cappuccino, as everyone should, as pretty much the same drink but less milk. Excellent all round, definitely visit.

Really lovely experience in here, with such pleasant staff 💗 my WiFi wasn't working at home so I needed to find a dog friendly place to work and this was so reliable. The tea was brilliant, affordable and stayed warm the entire time I was there. For working, it had plugs and good WiFi. What made it special was how the staff would check to make sure we were settled regularly, and even bought my dog some treats and water. Would recommend to everyone 🐾☕

After stopping by to try Christine's under new ownership I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, but sadly was not very impressed. The prices have gone up substantially and I always find issue with paying extra for alternative milk, but 50p extra is really quite a lot. The staff used to be so lovely and part of the reason we frequented here so much. The staff in the kitchen seem nice enough but with the door to the garden always open it is worth remembering that customers can hear everything they are saying... the atmosphere has sadly changed and doesn't feel like it's customer focused anymore. I went to cash in my loyalty card and was swiftly told that the hot chocolate I have always got with the loyalty card was not an option and I could have tea or coffee. To be fair, maybe that was always the case and I was allowed to have a hot chocolate as a gesture, as I did go to Christine's at least once a week, so I did spend a lot of time/money there. I had the apple pie and it was nice and all the cakes looked as good still. Reluctant to try it again but perhaps these are teething problems, so maybe I'll give it another go in a...

I visited the cafe today with a friend for lunch, and there were dirty dishes all over all of the tables. i had a lovely waitress, but when i went to order my meal i asked the member of staff at the counter which meals were alright for vegans and he suggested one which i took a fancy to, however i was extremely disappointed when it finally arrived (after being given to the wrong table) to find that it was not in fact vegan as it had lashings of butter on it. they took it back after lots of confusion and made me a new one, however the food was bland and much too expensive for what i received. i was very disappointed and did not receive any kind of discount for the multiple issues that occurred...
