£8 for a sliver (two bites) of cheesecake, unhelpful staff/manager that blame the owner for various issues and refuse refunds.

This place is terrible. I phoned the restaurant due to an issue with my order, they didn't have what I wanted so rather than deal with JustEat, I called them directly, the manager suggests an alternative cheesecake that is apparently "very refreshing".

When it arrived I was shocked, in fact, shocked was not the word. I've never seen a restaurant take a liberty like this before. It's the tiniest thing and I can see why it was suggested as refreshing. "lite" might have been a better description though.

I called them back up and was told different things by different staff, one said they were told to cut it like that, the manager said it was ordered in at portion size, blar blar. Either way, someone is lying and neither could justify the price.

The most interesting thing is the manager (or I think he was the manager) then decides to tell me how the money for take aways are received once a month and do not come back to the establishment, that the owner squirrels it away, as a result he wouldn't be unable to refund me directly. Instead, I would have to call JustEat for an hour or maybe more to try and sort the issues out.

Obviously I'm not prepared to do that so they can have the cash but not my future custom. Disappointed and a little confused.

This isn't my first bad experience here either. But it will be the last.

PS. It tasted like it was from Iceland, I suggests staying away from...

Today was my first and last visit to creams. The restaurant was filthy, every table was uncleaned, with plates, glasses, uneaten food just left lying around. Staff had filthy dishes everywhere even standing on them. We waited for nearly 45mins for just a latte There were 4 of us and two received their drinks after 20mins but 45mins later our drinks had still not arrived. We had to ask 3 times as to where our drinks were, being told they were on their way. We were about to walk out demanding our money back when the drinks arrived. Other families and customers were unsatisfied, angry at the state of the place and walked out after taking photos. The attitude of the male staff member stank. Customers pay to receive a service and today there was nothing but rudeness from staff who even tried to prevent people taking photos to support a formal complaint of the state of the restaurant. Appalling service and won't...

This place has gone DOWNHILL 👎! visited this place today with kids, kids wanted to go and use the toilet downstairs, an aggressive rude Indian man (I presume is the owner) shouted at my daughter and I , in an agressive manner , " don't go downstairs, it's closed!" . The agressive man/owner , FAILED TO CORDON OFF THE STAIRWAY!!! Which would clearly signal to customers that downstairs was closed. Used to visit this place regularly, won't be spending money here again. also I DO NO NOT recommend families to visit here , as it is NOT family friendly. This aggressive staff member / owner obviously needs retraining on customer service skills. I hope this helps members of the public. There is another dessert establishment newly opened in the Eastbourne town called 'Sweet spot ' that I read will be doing groundbreaking rolled ice-cream and high quality deserts. I will be going there instead. Would give zero stars...

Booked a table for a Sunday evening (didn't need to as when we arrived we were the only ones there). The staff and I assume management were sat around a table and it took a minute for anyone to notice us. To me the welcome felt hostile, almost as if we were resented for making them have to do something. Went up to order and, again, it took a couple of minutes before I was noticed as by this point the restaurant floor was empty. Then, again I assume, the manager was shouting for a member of staff to come and serve me. This would have been a 1 star review but the waffles and ice cream our table had was very nice, although surely it's hard to get the food wrong. As for the price, personally I think it's quite steep.

A great location of the place and enourmos menu offering you waffles, ice cream and sorbet, desserts, cakes & puddings, pancakes/crepes, sundaes, milkshakes, bubble tea, hot drinks. Great choice of vegan option which is a great plus. When I arrived there were not many customers so I didn't have to wait long to be served. The staff were polite and friendly. The place is decorated in modern but pleasant way. The tables were clean and located in reasonable distance from each other. I ordered a waffle which was made straight freshly and served in a nice looking way, good in taste too. There were only 2 members of staff (6-7 p.m., weekday) and I could see some customers waiting in the queue to order or be served...
