The Loft Lounge — Restaurant in Eastbourne

Firday nights DJ was excellent, and I can justifiably say this because I am a DJ. He read the crowd perfectly, played a good choice of music at the right time and in the right order to keep a really good atmosphere even when the numbers thinned out after 1am. The venue itself is well kept, pleasant and has a good atmosphere, with capable attentive barstaff who seem to always know who's turn it is, and are quick and efficient.

Overall a good night and 5 stars as a guy, but if you're a lady, do not go there alone and stick to your group, a couple of the girls I was with were a little drunk and there were several "ethnic" guys who were very quick to prey on them if they became separated from the group for even a few moments. Some of the approaches were very explicit and the approach quite aggressive, even after we intervened they were quite hard...

It's a very nice looking venue but in reality it is very overpriced for what you are getting. It is no different to most other pubs when you get down to the details. However it does provide a good night out and each time I have been in this venue it has been very busy which in my opinion is key to atmosphere.

Overall I think this pub is a pleasant pub and certainly provides what you need to have a great night...
