Unable to comment about the food as we didn’t make it to that.
Three of us got to Yummy Noodles between 8 and 8:30pm last Friday 10th February. They don’t close until 10:00pm.
When we got there, there wasn’t a table immediately free, however we were totally happy to wait. But apparently the staff just did not want us there at all. They were very forceful in telling us they were full and didn’t give us any other option than to essentially leave.
We asked whether we could sit on the higher chairs around the pillars, but we were angrily informed that no one could eat there. Even though there were two people being served food on the opposite pillar. So this made no sense at all.
We were patient and thought they would perhaps offer us the pillar chairs to have a drink, and then to wait for the next free table. But they did not. We politely pointed out that there were several tables looking almost ready to leave, but again we were just talked to extremely badly. A member of staff actually involved another innocent customer, by asking them if they wanted them to get us to leave. We did, of course leave, because it was a completely humiliating experience and we were treated with zero respect. To top it off, we went to the Thai Brasserie and could see staff at Yummys give other’s a table 5 minutes later.
We were three polite customers who have eaten there multiple times, both in the restaurant and via delivery.
There was absolutely no reason for us to have been treated this way, and we were completely baffled as to why this happened.
I have zero qualms about informing people of this unacceptable behaviour. Times are tough across the board for everyone, you would think that treating your customers well would be of the up...
Read moreWent on a Wednesday night at 5pm. Very noisy with kids playing on the floor and yelling the entire time. I got the impression they were staffs' kids. Not a pleasant atmosphere. Feels like a supermarket cafe, but far less charming. Ugly mash of "manga" on walls. Food was disappointing and cold, literally colder than room temperature. Possibly served up and sat out as it seemed to take ages to arrive. I'd asked if there was a duck dish and was recommended a plate of one menu item, and they'd add duck. As they had no simple duck noodle. Illogical. The recommendation was not good, tasting of fish with duck in it (it was NOT a fish dish, so Im at a loss). Id ordered Japanese noodle but got basic takeaway style chinese noodle. Charged for the menu item plus the duck was £5 extra - not value at all.
Very naff, ate less than a third and rejected it. Staff could see it was not good but just took it with no questions asked. They then did excellent job of avoiding the table after that.
Give it a miss. I sense the higher scores are teens who love anime, over hyping this very basic place. There's a super Japanese restaurant in Seaside doing authentic...
Read morerecently visited Yummy Noodle Bar in Isfahan and had an incredible dining experience. The atmosphere is bright and cozy, with colorful décor that instantly transports you to an Asian street-food spot. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and were exceptionally attentive throughout the meal.
For starters, we tried the hot-and-sour soup—flavourful, just the right amount of spice, and full of fresh vegetables. Then came their signature noodles: the Teriyaki Chicken Udon was tender, the sauce perfectly balanced sweet and savory, and the noodles had a great al dente bite. My friend’s Vegetable Pad Thai was equally delicious—generous portions, beautifully garnished, and authentically tangy.
What truly stood out was the service. They checked in regularly, offered water refills, and even provided recommendations when we asked about spice levels. The price was very reasonable for the portion size and quality—great value for money.
In short, Yummy Noodle Bar nails it: tasty, authentic Asian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re craving comforting noodles, flavorful broths, or friendly service, this place is worth a visit. I’ll...
