There are two cafés and we visited The Tennis Café which offered a good choice of homemade cakes, everything looked appetising but we had just eaten a large lunch and refrained from sampling the offer, next time we will go for coffee and cake. After enjoying good quality coffee and customer service we walked through the park and saw a white squirrel, although there are frequent sightings in Gildredge Park this was our first experience. There is a good deal of space to enjoy a walk, play areas for children, tennis courts and a skateboard area so lots to appeal to a wide range of ages.
