We visited today and it had a nice lunch. The people are friendly and the service was very good. Menu is extensive and there is a lot on offer, we found the prices reasonable. Kids selection is decent. Of course the one thing there wasn’t on the menu was sausage beans and chips lol but we (me and little one) compromised on egg beans and chips. The cafe is a nice size. Decent amount of tables without it being too squashed. There is a toilet on the premises which was very welcome especially being with the little one. It is counter service so you will need to go up and order/ pay at the same time, you are then given your ticket. The food was good. The omelette was excellent but my hash browns were a tad on the greasy /overdone side which was a shame but was edible and I still enjoyed my overall meal. I found the bacon to be quite lean with was good. Smoothie was really tasty and freshly made and hot chocolate was a good flavour, not too weak or rich. The food we had was all under £10 a plate and was overall we thought to be good value for money. We would come back again as saw other things being ordered / served that looked nice and being such a central location in the village, it’s easy to pop in.

I'd heard both good abd bad reports about this fairly new café so finally decided to try it for myself. I went in mid-morning on a rainy Tuesday. It wasn't very crowded. The friendly waitress came over and mentioned the two young boys sitting near the counter were her son and his friend. She also told me it was counter service to order. I had tea and a bacon bap. The tea came in a large mug, with a small jug of milk on the side. The waitress kindly asked if that was enough milk. The bacon bap seemed to me more of a flatbread than a bap but it was very good. The bacon was good quality, with no fat - delicious. £5.90 total: £3.90 for the bap and £2 for the tea. The café was very clean. I'll be back.

My 6 year old was very excited to come to the cafe so we actually turned up 5 minutes before they opened. They didn't mind at all, they let us in, we were served immediately and the guys were really nice. Food was great value, cost was about normal, and the portions weren't small! It's worth saying that kids potions in particular are huge for the moment! (I imagine they'll get a bit smaller eventually) I love supporting the local businesses in Hedge End, and this fits into the community shop offering really well! We'll definitely be back :)

Came here today with my mum and little girl, was absolutely amazing! Can’t fault it and would definitely recommend coming here. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious we had jacket potato with tuna and cheese, very generous portions and very tasty, absolutely loved the salad dressing that came with the side salad. The salad dressing comes separately though which is good as you can put on what you want. They spoilt my little girl which made her very happy and we got to try the delicious pancakes which will soon be on the menu. Thank you so much...
