Staff seemed more concerned about making sure we did a track and trace than customer service, even after we explained that we are fully vaccinated and were in the process of doing it when being asked. Then they got our order wrong when it was 2 simple drinks. Instead of apologising, I was told, "ah you should of had the one we made for you it's much nicer". I explained that I don't like that drink, otherwise I would of ordered it. Hence why I ordered what I wanted. Next - The seating area was tired and had sticky places on the chairs and there was thick dust on the shelving next to where we sat. It was not busy and in my opinion this is just piss poor standards of cleanliness and customer service. Will not be coming...

1 Almost always understaffed - two people usually trying to fulfil in-store and Uber orders.
2 Often a very long wait and coffee frequently tepid instead of hot.
3 Poor selection of (overpriced) sandwiches.
I gave up earlier this week when told to wait a moment by my server for no apparent reason. Fast forward three minutes and server was still staring blankly at the till - no reason given for the delay while a queue of seven or so people built up behind me.

Read moreStaff are not very friendly sometimes, it's really bad service the staff make you feel really unwelcome, we have been in there a few times and hoped that things would change. However, I just think that things have got worse instead of better !! Because the staff just make you feel so unwelcome as some of them can be so rude !! This is not a place that I will ever visit again !! This is one Costa Store that should be CLOSED for good ?? Or Costa should completely change the staff for it to get a better reputation (( good luck with that ?? )) If you are reading this, please have the good sense not to use it ...
