Whilst googling Starbucks hedge end to find out their closing time i came across their reviews and realised after all the times I've visited their branch, always receiving excellent service I have never taken the time to leave a review. So here it is.... I have visited many times at different times of the day/evening and have always been met with smiling faces from their very polite, helpful staff. During one visit before Xmas whilst loaded down with bags after having a very stressful shopping trip I decided to pop in on my way home to recharge with a coffee. After seeing all the festive flavours on offer and wondering which one to choose I was more than impressed to meet a member of staff called Megan (hope I got your name right) who was so helpful explaining all the new flavours and different milks to have with them.    Read moreNow I love a good Starbucks and having this one close to home is super convenient. However, I have to say, that this branch always seems to miss the mark for me. There always seems to be a queue, and the staff never really seem to have a sense of urgency. There are often dirty tables left for ages. On this particular visit, I was given a cappuccino with no cocoa powder (I wasn't asked if I wanted any when i ordered, nor when the drink was put on the counter) and they no longer have the self-service powders available. So I had to return to the counter where I was ignored for 2 minutes by the barista while he was busy texting on his phone, before I did the rudimentary throat-clearing thing to grab his attention. I only ever visit here occasionally and only as it is convenient for me, but I wouldn't particularly recommend it. At least the coffee still...
   Read moreOver the years and through lockdown, myself and my other half have been frequent patrons of this starbucks, we have seen the many staff changes, got to know many of the friendly staff with great customer service. We have also had to put up with sour, miserable staff, one in particular that finds it fit to stand and criticise or gossip about my partner and I, possibly because we enjoy chatting and having a banter with your staff, the friendly ones. Bailey in particular has a bad attitude, I dont know if she is the right person for this job. I think she is best suited for a position cleaning or washing dishes, shes definately not suited for a face 2 face customer service based position.
