Coop Microbar — Restaurant in Eastleigh

So after a disaster of a hotell stay we popped in last night whilst getting a teakaway. The guy behind the bar went above and beyond with helping us find a drink that we liked and was talking to him about our hotel stay. It's amazing how much a friendly face can make you feel so welcome and would love to give him a shout out. Unfortunately I didn't get his name and the drink recommended was amazing. I guessing the Manager/Supervisor was having a bad day/night. We had a reservation but were told, in a very abrupt manner, to find space in the ‘Communal Seating’ area upstairs. There was little help when trying to decide which beer to order and was made to feel it was my fault that there was no cider on tap. I fully understand not every day is a good day, but working in hospitality a cheery demeanour should be displayed at all times. Not a bad little place, went in to try some craft beer with three friends to see what it was like, and if it was good I'd have brought my dog along next time. Unfortunately even after tasting a couple of the beers we all left without finishing our pints as they were too much to muster.
