Having come to this Coffee Shop which was previously very good with another Barista with excellent coffee, cakes and sandwiches in 2023, things have gone down hill by a severe margin. Maybe because of the margins are soo tight but the Muffins / Cakes were hard and dry. The Coffee more water or milk than coffee. Service also seems to favour more over profit than providing a good service to customers. The last sandwich we had which was a Chicken & Bacon tasted fizzy and sour. Even mentioning this they we get push back buy saying it was freshly made. I teach HT and have a decade of catering experience can tell you it was definitively off. They will not admit fault and give attitude if you mention anything like this let alone complain. There are better options of a much better Coffee Experience which would be Custard & Cream in Sunbury where the coffee is amazing but parking is challenging. Come here at your own peril as it will be an unknown depending on the mood of the staff. But for the safety of your health and children's health id avoid as consistent health & safety as well as food safety is a concern. This is a new shop that opened up a couple of weeks ago. There are lots of coffee shops around, but I like this because it is kind of cozy. If you like semi privacy it's a great place for it. Decoration is simple and tasteful. I enjoy their sausage role. One day I came early and pastry was not ready. I opted for the one from the day before and it was a bit too dry for me. Days later I told them, they replaced it for me which was a surprise and it was nice as usual. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee kind of tasted nice and different. I casually asked one of the staff members who smiled and educated me about the organic beans they use. I enjoy learning and this just made my day. Rating reflects cost in this area. Haven't had many things of equal price so a little hard to rate fairly.

Smoked salmon with scrambled egg was a little bland, to be honest. Gave me salt and pepper on the side at least. The side salad they gave with it was very out of place. Better without it.

Friendly staff. They accommodated my out of the ordinary request and changed in the way that would save me money. If they had just done what I had asked, it would've been a little more. Not a lot saved, but I appreciate the honesty.
