not happy as booked for 8 people a week in advance for a birthday brunch, booked as it is alot of people and would need a big enough table. when we got there i said i had a booking for 8 people, i was told it was the tables next to the bar. these tables were basically coffee tables and definitely didnt fit 8 people on. i specifically booked in advance as i knew that it was a club at night so the tables would be like this. but i also know that the have bigger tables near the window as i came here last year and was sat there using 2 big tables. these 2 tables had a family of 3 on and then 2 other people on the other. so i wouldve expected that they reserved those 2 tables for the big booking i had made rather than sat at 2 little coffee tables. we also came to eat which is difficult to eat with a table lower than your knees when sat down. the tables werent even able to be put together because of the shaping of the sofas. i had 2 elderly people with this booking and it was not suitable for them to have to sit like that and eat. once the people off of the bigger tables left we moved ourselves to these tables. we didnt feel like the staff were very helpful with accommodating our needs and found them staring at us and probably moaning about us. i was really excited to spend my birthday brunch here with my family and hyped it up to everyone but i did not leave happy...

The Perfect 30th Birthday Celebration

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my partner's surprise 30th birthday party at Hummings in Esher, and I can't stop raving about the fantastic experience. From start to finish, the entire journey was made memorable thanks to the incredible team led by Ramon.

The night of the party itself was nothing short of magical. The venue was the perfect setting for an intimate gathering of about 95 people. I was grateful to be able to provide my own DJ, which added a personal touch to the evening.

The night ran incredibly smoothly, thanks to the planning and execution by Ramon and his team. They managed every aspect of the event, allowing me to relax and enjoy the party without a worry in the world.

Me and my partner visited this place on Tuesday 9th September. Very disappointing experience overall. We asked for one teapot but was given two teabags instead, and the lunch menu turned out to only be available from 12–1, which was never indicated anywhere on the menu. On top of that, one staff member was standing behind the bar wearing a headset, which didn’t feel professional, and another even had his wife and child behind the counter before leaving them to go outside. The whole atmosphere felt careless and unbothered.

The food was just as bad. The mushroom was burnt, the hash brown tasted bland and odd, and the sausage was completely forgotten until after we had finished eating everything else. When it finally arrived, it tasted terrible and actually made me feel unwell. We had asked to swap one item for extra hash browns, but only received two in total, which wasn’t what we requested. They even added butter to the bread without asking.

Staff leaving early only added to the sense of a place with no care for customers. Unfortunately, I ended up with an upset stomach for days after eating here. Poor food, poor service, and poor professionalism — I would not recommend this...
