JOE & THE JUICE — Restaurant in Elmbridge

I entered this store on 13/09/23 and directly spoke to a member of staff who 100% verified that the chicken used in their club sandwiches arrive FROZEN from OVERSEAS (Germany), and is then de-thawed (gross) before serving it to customers. I had them triple check the packaging labels on the meat and I was horrified when the source was validated. This is disgusting and deceiving for the cost of what is supposed to be a premium product. JOE & THE JUICE literally OUTSOURCES frozen chicken from thousands of miles away, despite the restaurant being in central UK farm land with fresh organic poultry available everywhere. Unpatriotic and reprehensible. Most people reasonably ASSUME it is fresh chicken from a local source, because Joe the Juice is allegedly a health chain. No. Absolutely shameful to charge £8 for a frozen chicken sandwich. I live next door to this establishment and I will tell everyone who walks in that the meat is of the poorest quality, filled with preservatives, fillers, emulcifiers, and nitrates. IF... the owner has an ounce of integrity.... they will respond to this review, however, their evident lack of response clearly...

Making this review while at the shop right now. They have wonderful staff, very friendly and great decoration/ theme, BUT asked for cappuccino, comes only in one small size. I need large, they didn’t even have the option and the standard they have is the small size in Costa! Asked for sweetners/zero calorie sugar and they did not have it. Sorry, even a mall mom and dad coffee stall has those. I left my cup of cappuccino untouched and returned it to the staff, refused to drink it/ they offered a refund and I said no! You have damaged my coffee moment which I have not had for a month now. Long story short, I am never ever spending a dime in this place again, first and last time. This is MY experience and MY choices, not suggesting anyone...

Visited Joe & The Juice Cobham on Saturday and had a truly disappointing experience. First of all, the scaffolding outside makes the place look completely uninviting — not what you’d expect from a supposedly premium juice bar.

We still went in and spent £45 between a few juices and one latte, expecting at least decent service. Unfortunately, the young guy serving us was rude, unhelpful, and acted like he couldn’t care less. No care, no smile — we were rushed through like we were holding up a queue at a fast-food joint.

For that kind of money, I expect more than a miserable attitude and an atmosphere that feels more like a construction site....
