I have been to many subways in my time but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. As soon as I walked in there the staff looked at me blankly, not asking 'what would you like?', not even asking wether I wanted cheese and just muttering 'yes?' without eye contact.
The real problem came when I came to pay; being a frequent subway buyer I wanted to use the rewards points I had saved. The store manager responsible for payments said that there was no way to scan my card because the 'scanner was broken'. With a smirk on his face he refused to input my code number, saying it is impossible on their system which is highly unlikely as otherwise they would not put a long code...

We arrived at 9:15pm, door wide open only to be told by someone that resembles Johnny Vegas they were indeed closed.
