The Ferry, a great place on the south bank, close to Hampton Court (ISH). A local pub/ restaurant superbly run by people with a Nepalese love. A great looking menu kept company by some keg beers and Mad Goose on draft. People here are lovely. I had a great pint of San Miguel. Cool place for a pint.

I have never eaten in a place where there was such a difference between the food and the service. The food is excellent, the steak night on Tuesdays is great and the quality of steak you get for £10 is truly stunning. However, the service is totally and utterly abysmal. I have been there twice recently. The first time it took over an hour and a hlaf to receive our one course meal. We decided to give them another chance. This time there were only two staff manning the bar and serving all of the tables and they were totally inefficient. It took them 20 minutes to seat us even though we had booked, they would barely even acknowledge us. We had been there 45 minutes before we received our drinks and the wine was incorrect. We ordered rioja and we were given shiraz without even being offered the chance to taste it. By that point we were so desperate for anything that we decided to keep it. Eventually the food arrived and it was top notch but I'm afraid that this time it didn't make up for the shocking service. The place desperately needs someone managing the front of house. Food was really 10 out of 10 but service was...

Just had the nicest curry here I've had in a long time. Visiting London from the Midlands so we are no strangers to a good curry. Thought this place looked interesting as it had good reviews and was a bit different from the traditional Indian or Sri Lankan curries we normally have. Upon arrival to The Ferry we were a little apprehensive as it looks like a traditional pub from the outside, it probably was, but we went in anyway and we were not disappointed! Service was spot on, polite, helpful and attentive. Food was outstanding quality. It was so obvious that it's all freshly made, it was simply delicious and all at a very reasonable price. Remember to tip your waitor as service isn't included. Highly...

I really enjoyed my visit last night. I thought my prawn biryani was delicious, and cooked in just about the right amount of oil, not too little and not too much. What has impressed me is that when I asked if I could have a small side salad, (which was not on the menu), they said yes. Now that really is service. What I also sensed is that the staff seemed relaxed and happy. So all in all a lovely experience. One of my friends ordered a starter, I've forgotten the name, sounded like Dom sum, miniature veggie rolls with a spicy sauce, but I might be wrong. That too I thought...
