Known for its warm ambiance, friendly service, and high-quality dishes, it has quickly become a go-to spot for locals and visitors seeking a taste of traditional Middle Eastern fare.

The restaurant's interior exudes a charming, rustic atmosphere, with its elegant décor and comfortable seating arrangements creating a welcoming environment. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or on a special occasion, the setting strikes the perfect balance between casual and intimate. The staff at Al Quds is attentive and polite, always ready to assist with recommendations or dietary preferences.

The starters are a highlight, with options such as hummus, falafel, and moutabal, all bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. For mains, the mixed grills are highly recommended — a platter featuring a variety of grilled meats like lamb, chicken, and kebabs, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The lamb shawarma and the chicken kebabs are particular standouts, tender and flavorful, accompanied by warm, fluffy pita bread and fresh salads.

Vegetarians will also find plenty of options, including dishes like the falafel wraps, stuffed grape leaves, and a variety of hearty salads. The portions are generous, ensuring that you get good value for your money. Desserts like baklava add a sweet touch to the meal, with their flaky, honey-soaked layers offering the perfect end to the experience.

If you’re looking for an authentic Middle-Eastern restaurant, which offers fresh-tasting and flavoursome Middle-Eastern dishes, delivered to a high quality standard every time, I’d highly recommend you try Al-Quds. Whenever I’m visiting / passing through Luton, this is my go-to place for Middle Eastern food.

The restaurant decor has a great ambience to it. It really captures the beautiful areas of Palestine with the art / decor / lighting. There’s a wide variety of different dishes to choose from. The grill is exposed so you can see all the dishes which are being cooked. The restaurant has a great aroma to it.

I’d personally recommend trying out the chicken / lamb shish, arayes halloumi and farouj meshwi with Arabic rice or chips. It tastes fantastic! The meat is always tender and flavoursome. The salad is fresh, with a wide variety to choose from and everything is marinated very well. The ratio of meat to flavour is exceptional. Price to portion sizes are excellent too.

If you’re visiting with family, I’d recommend checking if the restaurant has seating available beforehand, as they get very busy in the evenings and are very popular with the locals!

The staff and overall customer service is absolutely brilliant and the team always gives a warm welcome and with the very best hospitality. Staff are also really helpful when it comes to recommendations on dishes. I’ve visited a few times with family and they always go above and beyond to accommodate my needs.

I’d like to give a special thanks to the team at Al Quds: Mohammed, both Majed’s (Syrian & Palestinian), Omar, Michael, Ahmed, Figo and so forth.

I’d also like to give a very special thanks to Mohammed (Egyptian) who always provides such excellent customer service. He is very polite and respectful and makes the overall experience of eating at the restaurant even more pleasant.

Thank you! I look forward to visiting Al-Quds when I’m next in the...

After organizing dinner for our group of 15, Al Quds proved to be an exceptional choice for authentic Palestinian cuisine.

The meats were the standout stars - remarkably fresh with the Shawarma chicken infused with flavors that penetrated right to the center of each piece. The grilled chicken wings had perfect char while remaining juicy inside, and the mixed shish offered a variety of tender, well-seasoned cuts.

Their rice dishes were perfect - neither too firm nor mushy. The Maqlouba and Kabseh both had distinctive spice profiles while complementing the meats well.

The mezzas were impressive, with standouts being the Baba Ganoush and silky-smooth Hummus. The Hummus, in particular, was one of the best I've ever had.

Even the sides were impressive - particularly the crunchy chips topped with their unique seasoning. The refreshing salad balanced everything with its subtle touch of pomegranate molasses which added a sweet-tart note to the meal.

Every dish arrived at the perfect temperature and the presentation didn't suffer despite the quantity.

For anyone seeking authentic Palestinian cuisine that doesn't compromise on flavor or variety, Al Quds is the only shop I...

The interior & decor is very nice BUT this place is not for families!!! The seating area is so small! Maybe weekdays would be less busy? The fries were amazing in my opinion, the mix grill was nice, the half chicken was super hard however they were nice and replaced it for chicken wings instead which again were really nice. The presentation was lovely and I liked how they included the salad like that. We also purchased a falafel wrap which was super fresh and lovely. Lastly that hot sauce on the tables tops it off like cherry on the cake, the flavour was amazing. I can’t wait to return back here! I knocked a star off because they play the Quran in the restaurant whilst people including themselves are talking right over it…. The Quran is to be listened but talking over the Quran is disrespectful. Ofcourse I understand they probably don’t want music on but it’s better to play nothing than to put the Quran on whilst people are talking.
