Don't waste your money, go elsewhere. We booked for two nights, but left after the first. If it hadn't been for my daughter. We would have left after 3 hours. The carpark is the NCP next door, i felt unsafe just walking in the daylight, heaven knows how bad it would have been at night. The male receptionist who checked us in, barely uttered a word, just handed me the door card with the room number and expected me to find the room without even being directed towards the lift. The room was adequate, but was in need of a good clean, not just a quick 5 minute job. Went to the restaurant for dinner with my family, the meals all arrived seperately, with 10 minutes between the first and last arriving. Food was bland but not sure what else I would've expected. Went to bed and until around 3.30 am there were doors slamming every few minutes. I reported this to reception first thing in the morning when checking out. The lovely morning receptionist refunded my second night and apologised for the noise over night, and informed me of their good night sleep guarantee. I contacted the people she told me to and they have said that I should have gone down to reception during the night, to do so I would have had to disturb my young daughter who was the only one of us who managed to sleep. I will think twice before booking any Premier inn again. And will certainly not be returning...
Read moreI've been staying here with my family in 3 rooms for a week whilst we move houses. All rooms are clean, spacious and everything in working order. However since windows cannot be opened, the rooms do have a varying smell including cigarette but the smells are more apparent when entering the room than when in the room for a long time.
The 3 rooms we have all have different bathrooms; 1 with a spacious walk in shower, 1 with a bath with a shower and 1 wet room with shower seat for the accessible room we booked. The beds in all 3 rooms are comfortable and rooms block outside noise although some other guests passing by can be noisy. Since we are staying during lockdown housekeeping is as requested and so far they have responded sufficiently to any requests for fresh linen, towels and more tea and milk etc. Because of the lockdown the restaurant is closed including for breakfast which we feel could of been adjusted to guests to eat in room instead. However there is plenty of shops and restaurants nearby with many available online for delivery since it's minutes from the town centre.
For the price we all are happy with the hotel and rooms, it would be be 5 stars if the rooms had better ventilation and the restaurant was open at least for breakfast. I would come again out of lockdown. *Please bear in mind I took photos on my 5th day with no...

Strangely, Premier Inn ask you to inform them of late arrival (after 11pm); yet, they never answer the phones (16 phone calls – international rates – and not one response), they provide no local hotel email, they don’t reply to X, Instagram, Facebook in a timely manner, and they take 5 days to respond to enquiries via their own online form. It is hardly surprising to read that some customers have been left standing outside in the rain late at night with such abysmal customer service. Other than that, …
TV remote broken Lamp broken Restaurant closed at peak times (17:30-19:00); 1 hour wait time after that to get food. Worst internet speed in all of Luton, approx. 2-3 MBPS (6 min for Facebook to fully load, no chance of streaming anything) It seemed like staff were overworked (checking in/out customers, restaurant duties, customer issues, etc.), meaning management skimping on customer service by understaffing hotels, thereby overworking staff… all to make a few extra bucks.
Much better, customer-oriented, and professional management is urgently needed in Premier Inn hotels in general. It seems to have declined considerably in the past few years...
