Hi You will see from my account I use weatherspoons alot, I came in with my child who has autism he got a margarita pizza as he always does, when a was cutting it notice less than half yhe pizza had cheese on a went to speak with a team member that serviced me, he was a black man about early 40s slim build. Advised him of the issue he told me instantly no sir you ordered a garlic bread and advised this was wrong he check the till and seen I was correct, I advised him to come see on route to table he told me margarita pizza is a base with sauce and that the way it comes Advised it was for my son he gets them all the time in other weatherspoons due to lack of eating with autism. The way he spoken to me was shocking, he said its fine we can refund you if your not happy but any other will be the same. his attitude and ability to understand was non existent. it was unfair and unedable, after asking who the manager was to another staff member told me he wasn't the manager but he would get the manager, a lady wearing a camera came to the table and advised there set amounts we put on pizza and this is all we can give without even looking at the pizza or checking what was wrong with it, probably the worst service I have ever had See photo your lucky if there 30% with cheese on it unbelievable

Stopped here on the way to the car as wanted to try them after visiting a couple of pubs from the chain in Bournemouth. Pleasently surprised as haven't been here for many years and it has a more homely feel now. I know that we visited during the afternoon and not the evening when I assume it could be manic but we had a choice of tables and even stayed for a snack. When we visited there was a shortage of some ales due to a distribution issue but it allowed me to try a couple of different ales including a ruby which were really enjoyable. £1.99 a pint was unbelievable for craft beer well done. Cleanliness on the whole wasn't too bad but the cleaner does need to take a little more care. Our table was fine but one closeby had food dropped beneath it which she ignored completely. The waiter who served us was really good and tbh would not have been out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Will definitely be back. They currently have a promotion celebrating real ales and countrywide are offering a variety of ales, porters etc. from local microbreweries . Popped in to have a look and between the wife and I tried all three of the drinks offered. Enjoyed them all. Definitely worth a look over the next week or so if you're in town.

Today I had a worst experience in this place. I was waiting for my meal when young man passed by my table and began to ask all the customers who ordered a food(why they using those table numbers if waiter can’t remember those three digits anyway?). When he was passing me for a second time I recognise the meal I have ordered, I told him - “it’s me”. He turn around rapidly and all food mixed on the plate, some fall on the ground and some appear around his finger which was in plate. I asked him-“hey what you’re doing?” He said -“what’s wrong?” Me-“you’re dropping my food” He(in a rood way) - “I can give you another chip” Me “just be careful “ He throw the plate on the table and left without any apologies.(photo of how food was served attached) Second thing was a wired oiled pease of something in my plate, I’m sure this waste which is not for consuming, but someone decided that I’ll be happy to eat it.(photo attached) Sad story about my favourite place.

I would like to express my disappointment with this visit to those pub. It was my worst customer service experience I have ever had and it was the duty manager who made it awful. We were a party of 3 people sitting outside on a lovely sunny evening. My friend ordered some drinks and fries to go with the drinks. I ordered my burger and the some sharing starters. The chips and drinks came first and as we were sharing I had some from my friend's chips. As soon as my burger with chips arrived I transferred the chips to the sharing plate so they could also have my chips. As I was about to eat my burger I noticed that there was just the bun and the burger no salad, it was a plane small over cooked burned looking burger and a bun. At this point I went to the till to complain and the attendant was apologetic and agreed that it didn't look appetising. So she took the burger plate away and called the duty manager. The duty manager approached me and said that I had eaten the chips already and no apology for the state of my burger. I explained the above about the chips. He didn't seem to believe me, I asked that I would like to change my order for something else and he told me that he could not find my order in his till. I showed him my receipt from the app and still he said there was nothing he could do apart from charging me for another order and he mentioned again the fact that I had eaten the chips. At this point I went back to my table and to bring to him the chips that I had put in the sharing plate. I went back woth the chips and I was appalled that he had the courage to take the chips plate from me and said again that there was nothing he could regarding the refund or giving me some other food. I asked him if in his manage view was it right that I was walking away without my dinner and without my money which I paid for my dinner. He said again that if I wanted I could put another order in and pay for it and then contact customer relations to get a refund. I could not believe what I was hearing. I said that it was nothing to do with me that he could not find my order in his till, I showed him my receipt from the app order. Still nothing. I went back to my table and my other 2 friends were still waiting for me to start eating their food which went cold in the meantime. We were so upset about what just happened that we decided to walkway and go and have dinner somewhere else. I hope was able to give a detailed picture of my experience. I visit this pub very often and I have to admit things are going downhill in terms of service and quality of food. But today it was...

I generally don't write reviews but this is by far the worse customer service I have been faced with. Dropping my rating from 4 to 1 star, 0 would be more suitable. Every time when I come to Luton, without exception, I choose this place. I also gladly recommended it as a go to place for any friend passing through or staying in Luton. I liked the fact that I could read one of their old books while enjoing an ok meal. The customer service was not the greatest but I was ok. Until tonight. After waiting to be served for more than 10 minutes, the bartender in front of me just leaves without asking me anything. Another one shows up and serves the persons in front of then leaves. And the third starts serving random people. When I told her I have been waiting for a long time and how long will will it take until I get my order her replay was, on a patronising voice: "You waited so long you can wait some more minutes." When requested to be more polite she refused to serve me and so did the entire staff. The reason, after talking with a manager: if they feel in any way a disconfort towards a customer they are allowed not to serve her/him and all bartenders must comply, regardless of the reason of the feeling. "He was very rude", she said. "I felt uncofortable" she said. If you go to this place take your best face and try to please the bartenders, regardless of their patronising and disrespectful attitude, because if they feel any animosity towards you you will be kicked out in a typical British manner:"You are welcome to stay here, but we will not serve you." Or you could just avoid it and find a better place with people that don't make you fell like you receive a favour if...
