Amans Stockton Heath — Restaurant in England

This used to be my favourite restaurant. 2 week ago it was taken over by new management and tonight we decided to try it. We were put a table for 4 when only 2 of us. We had to wait ages for food and drinks, and then half way through the meal we were asked to move tables to allow a party of 4 to use our table, never have I ever experienced this. The food was ok but not not as good as usual. Then the dirty plates were collected and then brought back and left on the table?? I then went to pay and they could not find our bill at first. Easily the best authentic Indian takeaway in the village. I usually always religiously go to Eastern Revivie, which is also excellent, however the takeaways at Eastern for me are not as good as the restaurant food. Whereas Amans the takeaway is just like eating in the restaurant. The lamb they must cook for hours as it melts in the mouth. I had a lamb samber and my wife lamb dhansak. My girlfriend and I went to Amans tonight, we had 4 courses from their midweek special offer (£15.95), We had popadoms & chutneys, Mixed Kebab starter & Chicken Chat Starter, followed by Chicken Tikka Madra, Chicken Tikka Passanda , Keema Rice and a Pashwari Naan bread.
