Mulberry Tree Inn — Restaurant in England

We go in this pub quite a lot.. The meal we had today was not very nice.. we asked for 2 burgers which cost £20 plus drinks.. the burgers came with a bit of lettuce .. when I asked the lady about tomotoes she asked the chief who said they don't put tomotoes on the burgers any more.. only a bit of lettuce and onion.. I asked her was it under new management she said no.. I thought it was because it's not the same as usuall.. The lady from behind the bar continues with her job.. cleaning the glasses away and clean8ng the tables with a black dirty cloth and some spray.. luckily for us she didnt come to our table to clean.. I would of told get to go and get a clean cloth if she had attempted to clean our table.. In my eyes the pub is going down hill.. we don't live in stockton heath but only down the road in grappenhall.. I think I may think agsin drinking and eating in the mulberry tree.. The pub is not...

Nice looking pub, we was given a menu and told to order drinks from it but some things on the menu wernt stocked and it seems we were expected to know this. When I popped to the bar to query it i was rudely told by one member of staff that got up in my face to sit down and when i tried to explain why i had approached the bar she said i was being aggressive towards her, i was quite taken aback by this as i was being friendly but it was like she wanted an argument or a reason to throw me out. She then listened into my private conversation with my husband and marched over and told me i was lying about what happened even though he had heard the whole thing. I could see that people were queuing to get into other pubs and that this pub was quite empty it now makes sense why, she scares people away. Its sad because if she lacks people skills then she should work...

I visited the Mulberry Tree, and while the food was decent quality, it's worth noting that it's pre-prepared. You get what you pay for, but it's not necessarily a bad thing!

The real highlight was the bar service - the team is fantastic! They're hardworking and go above and beyond whenever possible. I was impressed by their dedication and enthusiasm.

Unfortunately, I witnessed some challenging customer behavior, with two older women being quite rude to the staff. However, this didn't deter the team from providing excellent service.

I wanted to write this review to give credit where credit is due. Hospitality isn't easy, and the team at the Mulberry Tree deserves recognition for their hard work. Despite the difficulties they face, they continue to provide great service....
