Antepli Bournemouth is a culinary gem that offers an authentic taste of Turkey. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is tastefully done, creating a relaxing ambiance perfect for a leisurely meal.

The food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of the region. The tender, succulent meats, perfectly cooked rice, and an array of delectable mezze were simply divine. We were particularly impressed by the freshness of the ingredients, evident in every bite.

Our group opted for the Antepli Special Mix ( Lamb Shish, Adana Kofte, Chicken Shish Chicken Wings, Lamb Ribs served with rice or chips and salad with Turkish bread) and Antepli's special Ali Nazik (Char-grilled smokey aubergine mash with yogurt and garlic, topped with finely diced lamb, drizzled with butter), and we were blown away by the authentic flavors. The Special Mix was a delightful assortment of tastes and textures, showcasing the best of Turkish cuisine. The Ali Nazik was a creamy and comforting dish that perfectly complemented the other flavors.

The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the generous hospitality of the management. Their warm welcome and genuine care for their customers were evident throughout our dining experience. To top it off, we were treated to a delightful surprise of complimentary baklava and Turkish tea, which were both exquisite.

I joined my work colleagues for a nice meal out to Antepli as It was highly recommended due to how good the food was. The food was good but the service was poor. We were waiting for an hour and 15 minutes for our food to come out and I only ordered cheese. When I asked a member of staff for a small discount, he refused and then pretended to be the manager and all i was asking for is a good will gesture which was clearly too much to ask. The guy I spoke to couldn't run a hamster wheel, let alone a successful restaurant. Great restaurant but severly let down by the numpty on duty this evening. Due to this experience, I would NOT recommend this place to eat. There are lovely places to eat out but this is not one of them. My advice is train your staff better or just get rid of them as they are ruining your reputation as a business. People like that belong in a factory somewhere away from the general public!!! Antepli was our favourite until only recently we experienced a very poor, arrogant and unprofessional customer service over the phone.

The online system did not process our booking reservation for 2 for later this month, so we phoned the restaurant and tried booking over the phone.

Everything was ok until we requested for an email confirmation of our booking.

The senior male staff member who was assisting said it’s booked but said the email confirmation can happen only booking via online. We explained the online system was not going through after we tried a couple of times, and asked if we can still have a confirmation emailed to us.

However this man immediately ignored us, very rudely told us to look somewhere else (after only requesting for an email confirmation), and hung up the phone on us.

We have never expected and experienced this kind of unprofessional and appalling customer service anywhere else in this country.

We are never coming back here again, very disappointed with the very disrespectful and disgusting attitude and behaviour. No joke guys.

Shame on Antepli for ruining this...
