Richmond Arms — Restaurant in England

Been a local here for coming to over 10 years and gradually seen the place get worse. The cost of beer has gone up about three times this year and now it's time to look elsewhere as i've looked around and beer is cheaper in other nearer pubs. Shame really as I have fond memories of the place. Green king are definitely not thinking about their customers here like other pubs owned by them. Service is shocking,wait an age & the attitude of most staff is a poor customer relation one. Facilities are good apart from the men's toilets that was waiting for a toilet seat for over a month! (Yet beer price kept going up)&need a good refit plumbing wise...wet feet...if you know what I mean! I wish to give my thanks to the Manager Jack Durham and his team for a perfect meal on Christmas Day at the Richmond Arms, Charminster Bournemouth, as they were perfect and the meal was first class, they make us feel very welcome and we were seated was perfect and table was nicely done. and they had seated near us the perfect people who also were good company it was our first Christmas away. and it was lovely being in Richmond Arms Pub, I hope Greene Kings owners will feel proud that of the manager Jack Durham and his great team, And give them the recommendation they deserve. We arrived for our pre booked xmas meal at approx 12.50 pm table was booked for 1pm. We git our starter at around 1.30pm. We has to ask where our main meal was at 2.15pm. It arrived at 2.40pm. It was cold and unedible. The turkey was like rubber and the lobster with the fish was so tough it could not be cut with a knife. When called the server over who was very apologetic. We're offered to have our meal REHEATED. it was our Christmas day lunch which was a very big key down. We had heard other tables sending their meals back before we got ours.
