Family meal, 8 in total. Overall not a bad experience. Probably would go again but it does have its bad points depending on your personal preference. It is very loud and this killed the atmosphere for me, I don't like having to raise my voice over the music or in this case just the general volume. We ordered a selection of starters and mains and they were for the most part as you would expect. Chicken dishes were well cooked and all tue pasta both lasagne and spaghetti were cook slightly over but still very nice, garlic bread with cheese was a little underwhelming and needed more cheese, steak was well cooked as requested but could have benefitted from another 5min resting. Biggest issue ( and I've added a pic) was the chipped and cracked ramekin of limp salad that the choose to serve with the mains, this would have been better placed in a larger sharing bowl for our numbers . I'm always critical of any eateries which serve food in or on damaged crockery... its just not acceptable 😕 I think it will continue to be popular due to the alternatives but a little more attention to the little things would make a huge difference. If your looking for a relaxing meal as a couple I would say check your timings as it is very...

I'm always cynical of restaurants in Redcar as I find that most are pretty rubbish. This place was met with the same cynicism but after being seated at a good table and a drink order taken straightaway I had the chance to cast my beady eye over the menu.

All of the starters sounded lovely and I ended up going for the king prawns which were top notch in a beautiful warm and spicy chilli sauce. I also had taste of the mussels and they were equally beautiful.

The mains were plentiful and super tasty. The drinks menu was excellent and whilst a touch more expensive than a pub, it offered overall good value.

The staff were great and even provided me with four half glasses to takeaway (recently moved to new house and no glasses yet!!)

I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Really lovely little restaurant that doesn't cost you an armand...

So here we are, wondering around in Redcar with no idea where to eat as both of us and the kids are quite picky when it comes to food quality and standards....and I see this little place across the street from the seaside ...and I had a good feeling about it. We go in, no booking, table is available, clean restaurant, polite waitress, comfy seats, fast service, amazing food...and I really mean amazing. Hand made proper chips just the way that I like...the Chicken was made to perfection ...and the kids ate everything. Never needed to wait for an eye contact with the waitress when we needed something which made the experience extremely smooth and another amazing thing was that it took them only 45 seconds to bring out the bill....which is in most of the other restaurants take ages...

In a nutshell everything was really good. You are nuts if you...

Fantastic restaurant, ideal for a nice dress up sit down with partner kinda meal out. Covid measures impeccable we we're well distanced when we went. Meal was sublime. I had the creamy chicken (pollo a la crem?) And it was incredibly tasty and delicious, portions were sufficiently generous. The bruschetta starter was equally as nice! Set menu options available which with careful choices can save you a really decent amount. 2 set menu choices with one beer one coke came to just over £30. Amazing value for the quality of food and service you get!

Great for gluten free options. They don't do gluten free pasta, unfortunately, which I think they could really benefit from, but the rice and risotto dishes are superb, with fabulous steaks and gorgeous sources. Their desserts are really nice but I never have enough space to eat it. They also do really good cocktails, with two for £10, and because they're so big I think they're worth it.
