First time visiting The Zetland Cafe. Excellent full English breakfast with quality ingredients. I'm no fan of sausages but these were perfect! Lovely tasty bacon, and a perfectly cooked egg. Proper mushrooms and the most delicious black pudding. Even the toast is good quality and thickly sliced. Plus a free tea or coffee of your choice makes this good value. The service is good, attentive but not over the top chatty like some places locally. This place does welcome dogs, and there were around half a dozen when we were there. It's a small place, so you have to be a dog lover or it could be quite annoying with the grumbling between them and coat shaking. We did also find it exceptionally noisy. In fact, probably the noisiest cafe we've ever been in. This is why I've only given 4 stars. We were there at around 11am and will certainly be returning but trying a different time of day as the breakfast is served till 3pm.

What a superb little find, right opposite the beach and dog friendly too. Dog paradise in fact as the doggies get a sausage. This place is well decorated and kept clean and inviting. Really friendly staff, keen to accommodate all your requests and all with a smile. Food well cooked and plentiful. Food quality is superb and value.... well that's quite outstanding. Well worth a visit and opn till 3 every day except Christmas day! Have visited numerous times. and never changes. Always consistent.

A really nice café very clean great food good price . Very dog friendly well behaved doggies get treats and fantastic views across the bay. All the above still true but a little sign by the till now says cards accepted brilliant news as I rarely carry cash anymore. June 2023 Back again café has been fully redecorated and tables and chairs replaced looks great and tables and chairs are a move up comfortable and good looking 👍👍👍

Exciting looking place from the outside but the menu is the same boring stuff from any cafe. Didnt have bottled water or coke that was on the menu. The chese burger we ordered was nothing but buns, plastic cheese and a paperthin patty - even a fast food burger has more to it. Particularly disappointing given its inviting external appreance and TripAdvisor rating.

A day visit to Redcar for the first time, looked up dog friendly places to eat, found Zetland cafe, it's a lovely clean place with choice of indoor/outdoor seating, spacious, lovely food, I requested an egg for the dog, it came served in a dog bowl, so cute and thoughtful, definitely go back when we return
