Asha Tandoori — Restaurant in England

On entering there was a light smell of incense, great bit of Indian atmosphere. Quite an extensive menu, ordered my usual chicken pathia with extra coriander with 2 chapati takeaway. There was extra coriander, an abundance of chicken, was on the hotter side but delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff were friendly. All in all worth a visit for a good curry, the restaurant also looked quite nice and the departing customers positively commented on their meal. Thank you for a great meal. I went again 2 week later, same order and it was exactly the same but this time, I had a revelation. Not only was it good but was as good as the pathia in Jimmy boy's in Mumbai ( a well known long time trader an specialist in parsi food) So, in reflection, I think this is as authentic a curry as can be outside of...

Excellent restaurant with good food and fantastic staff. Coming from Bradford, the North’s ‘Curry Capital’ we know a good Indian meal when we taste one!

The Asha Tandoori did not disappoint!

Set in very traditional relaxed surroundings, the food is superb, the freshest chapatis we have ever tasted. An extensive menu and excellent prices. All the usual favourites and some Chef’s Specials with a wide range of fresh accompaniments to really make your meal.

What really made the evening was the staff who were so pleasant and professional. We will be back!!

This was our first visit to Asha Tandoori. Initial impressions were very positive. We were soon shown to our tables. There was 7 of us. Once we got settled in, the drinks order was taken. The drinks were soon on the tables. There was an impressive choice on the menu. After much discussion amongst the group, the meal order was sorted. The restaurant is cosy. It was pleasing to find that the room was nicely warm and coats were soon discarded. The meal was soon delivered, and we all tucked into what we all agreed was a very tasty meal.
