Supattra Thai Restaurant Bridlington — Restaurant in England

Well just been there it will be a very long time before i go back. Extremely dissapointing . Asked for a thai salad i used to get .dont do them no more too time consuming was the answer to make. Hmm thought a thai salad was a staple diet of thai food .starter i ordered was chicken satay . The satay used to be served separately in an individual dish this was a sort of satay spread like margarine over the chicken. But the jungle curry was not a curry at all. I ordered seafood jungle curry with prawns mussels squid and snapper fish .not one piece of fish was in the dish. Jungle curry is a 3 chilli dish .mine was more like warm coloured water tastless A thai jungle curry is supposed to be hot .sweet and sour..with pea aubergines .young palm hearts green pepoercorns and other green leaves .mine was a few carrots and green beans ..i did not complain because where would that get me. Only a load of bumph. So i would rather say my piece on here .i have been before to suppatra on neunerous occasions but today it took the biscuit i wont be returning .i was told before i went that its not as good as it used to be and yes its right. But everyone has an opinion and this is mine .i will not return .they have lost a good customer. Its lost its mojo. To be told ingredients are hard to comeby its just a cost cutting excuse i can obtain nearly if not all the ingredients i was told are unavailable from a thai supermarket i go to. Im so sorry but suppatra you are on a slippy slope. Its wrong i would seriously look at your menu and serve what it says...

Ate here this evening, we didn’t have a booking (on a Saturday evening) but were kindly accommodated anyway. The owner was very friendly and attentive. We love Thai food and were not disappointed with the dishes we ordered. We had a starter each and shared a curry, stir fry, phad Thai and rice for mains. Everything was delicious, very hot and fresh and 100% authentic (we’re very picky…!) I also thoroughly enjoyed the wine - I chose the Colombard which was recommended to go with Thai food - I’m also rather choosy about my wine but this was perfectly chilled and did indeed complement the food very well. We were really impressed with Supattra and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves Thai food. Thanks again to the owners for squeezing us in on...

They’re not wrong when they say this is the absolute ‘hidden gem of the north east’ Honestly the best Thai food we have ever had! And we LOVE Thai food. After having a bad taxi service, we eventually arrived half an hour late for our table reservation but this was no issue for these lovely people! They made us feel so welcome and chilled us out instantly. The atmosphere was gorgeous. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. And the food was outstanding! We feel privileged to have eaten at this restaurant. 10/10! We ate every last bit. Such a lovely experience. Tim and Koo are such lovely people as well. We will 100% be back to this restaurant!
