What more to say than a quality family ran cafe with a warm atmosphere. I went for a ‘Special Breakfast’ with an extra Hash Browns and it hit the spot, and then some. Not to mention, mega cheap too! £5.20+ 80p for the Hash Browns which includes a tea/ coffee. WOW. Everything is made to order which means yes, there’s a small wait, but it is well worth it. If you’re visiting Bridlington or a resident that has not tried Boathouse, get yourself down. It will not disappoint! An easy clean plate.

I am a keen breakfast eater and on my trip to Bridlington I asked a local where the best local cafe was for a breakfast and the boathouse was recommended. They do not take card payments. Inside is very old fashioned. And you have to wait 5 mins etc because your food is cooked from fresh. Absolutely definitely recommend this place. Lovely lady served me and made the perfect mug of tea. Extremely good price taking into account your tea is included.

A nice little gem of a traditional cafe. Retro, padded bench seats set in the traditional style make this a step back in time from when cafés were cafés. The food is cooked fresh and may take a little time to arrive, and NOT left on a hot plate for 4 hours to dry up. The English breakfast is top quality and cooked to perfection. I couldn't fault it at all. A definite revisit is on the cards for me

This little cafe has an 80s feel to it, down to the old style tv running in the background, and the old (cheap) prices, a full English cooked breakfast, with coffee for under £5 - amazing with today's inflation. Usually that would mean a horrible greasy fry up with oil and stringy bacon... NOT HERE!

Living in Bridlington and having had a cooked breakfast in at least 7-8 cafes over the years, I can easily say the quality of the ingredients combined with the skill of the chief is not beaten anywhere else I've tried, throughout Brid.

The cafe is usually clean and tidy, although at busy times it isn't a criticism, one can always lend a hand and return you coffee cup. I visit at least 4-5x a year and have never...

Has a unique taste that will never be replicated. This place is a local landmark. The best breakfast in the town by a country mile and it’s probably one of the cheapest (not that I would dare go anywhere else). Could eat one every day if i was still local. Make sure you get some toast on the side, the butter tastes incredible. The eggs have nice firm whites with runny golden yokes. The fat is on the bacon is rendered perfectly but the meat is still nice and moist. The place is spotlessly clean and has bundles of character. The breakfasts are plated up with care and plate size is adjusted accordingly. I could go on but will leave you to make your...

Just been here today our last day on our holiday went for a cooked breakfast. My niece and nephew went to pier 6. Over priced no food bad service I said let's try Boat House Cafe they was adamant to go to pier 6. So my wife and myself sat whilst they ate. We went to Boat House Cafe. Well so glad we did 2 breakfast specials 3 bacon 2 sausages 2 eggs fried bread butter and bread beans tomatoes 4 drinks £15 + £5tip which was well deserved. The service and food was faultless this will be our regular cafe when on holiday or even day out. £30 at pier 6 for less 1 small sausage butties standard breakfast 1 item extra items £1.65. Boat house cafe...
