Baffi — Restaurant in England

We visited at around half past six on a Thursday evening and we had our choice of table: either at the front, or along the corridor to the area at the back next to the kitchen. We chose at the back, because having a highchair at the end of most of the tables elsewhere would have created a bottleneck: it's a little cosy here!

There was lots to choose from the paper menu, but we went with the Antipasti board to start. It came with artichokes, a selection of meats and delicious cheese and was delicious.

For our mains I had a prosciutto, cherry tomato, buffalo ricotta, mozzarella and.. rocket (why is everything I order nowadays sprinkled with this?) pizza. Again, it was delicious. What made it was probably the base: it was tasty bread and thin. Actually, it was a little too big for my stomach to accommodate: so perhaps next time I will skip the appetisers.

They make a small tomato and mozzarella cheese pizza for children. It's not on the menu.

For dessert, I had two scoops of ice-cream: pistachio and chocolate. Though, perhaps next time I will go for the tiramisu: served in a jar with a lid, it looked like the real deal.

I highly recommend Baffi Pizzeria for following reasons: I had a wonderful time here in general. Assistant Manager Sharna and her colleague waiter Archie have both been very welcoming towards me, as they value their customers. They have not turned me down even I came late in the evening after a long walk, and they both made me to feel welcomed. Sharna been very passionate in helping me to choose my cocktail and pizza, which I would enjoy, as they have a huge choice of amazing tasty oven baked pizzas, so it is hard to choose from their big choice. I had beatifuly made Aperol Sprits, and one of the pizzas Sharna has recommend to me was No.19 - Goats Cheese, Caramelised Onions, Garlic and Olives. My pizza was made by their Chef Jack, who has made it to be spotless!!!!! It was very crunchy and tasty. Beautifully made pizza. Chef Jack was very passionate in making my pizza, and he was also very kind and friendly towards me. My Cafe Latte was also beatiful, and it was served with lovely crunchy biscuit. In general all the staff are very welcoming, caring, and friendly, food is amazing and tasty, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing with lovely music playing. Having heard constant, exceptional reviews from other colleagues and friends, I decided to make it a priority to get down to Baffi for some good food. And wow, I most certainly was not disappointed! Fron the minute I arrived, I was greeted in a polite and friendly manner, and given a choice of where I would like to sit, depending on availability of course. It was nearing the end of the evening, but we decided to sit outside. There is a beautiful seating area out back, hidden from the street view. It is like a litte secret garden. As it was getting later, the staff ensured to turn on the heaters for us, which made our experience that little but more magical. We felt very welcome during our meal, the staff had a vast knowledge of their menu and were able to ask any questions we had precisely, and accurately. The food itself was better than I could have imagined. In fact-Cooked to perfection-would not do it justice enough. It was fantastic authentic Italian food, cooked and prepared by Italians, and not English people cooking 'Italian' food.
