I recently attended a wedding at Barluga Morpeth and was so impressed from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful stylish yet welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere that made the day feel really special.
Emily, who looked after the wedding party, deserves a huge mention. She was so organised, professional, and attentive throughout the day. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure everything ran smoothly, and thanks to her, the whole event felt seamless and stress-free. She really went above and beyond to make the day perfect.
The food was another highlight every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and of a really high standard. It’s not always easy catering for a large group, but everything came out fresh and full of flavour.

We all had Barluga burgers and they were delicious and very well presented. We decided to have a sweet which included: the strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake; vegan ice cream; and the Baileys Irish Cream and white chocolate bread and butter pudding which is most definitely the best bread and butter pudding we had ever tasted. Arrogant guy, unpleasant first contact with the company for sure, put him on dishes. Food was ok, just ok.. high end prices not warranted. Bit of a ripoff. Most of the other staff were nice, some were excellent. But felt they're all really pressured, likely the company not putting enough people on, hence they're all stressed, which transfers on to customers.
