We've been here before and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The decor is lovely too. This time, we went expecting to treat our teenagers after exams and were going to have 3 courses but they were not able to fulfil our order despite the minimal menu. Starter: Arancini was not available. We were looking forward to this as we've had it before and it is lovely. Drinks - Moretti - none left. Had to have house lager. Cream soda - none left. Pizza - no problems with these and they were lovely. Dessert- We asked for the dessert menu. The waitress said there were NO desserts! She said they have trialed them and now only serve hot drinks or honey cake! I've never been to a restaurant that has no desserts. Also, this wasn't mentioned at the start of the meal. This was a real disappointment for our family as were we then had to leave what had been a nice evening and go home early. The pizza was really nice but the experience was spoilt and our special evening out was memorable partly for choosing this restaurant which had only some choices available from their small menu. What a shame. We would go back but obviously, not if we...

Pizzetta a nice size to have with the fries for lunch (fries were excellent, as was the fermented chilli dip I had with) although pizzetta was cooked well with delicious base, sauce, cheese and toppings, I'd like a bit more heat on the top but would definitely have this again.
Meatball sub, which I wouldn't usually order, blew me away. Bit oversized for eating easily, but the meatballs were solid, perfectly done and seasoned, and an excellent vehicle for the delicious sauces and cheese on them.
Service and staff we interacted with were great, helpful, friendly.
Parking- there isn't any directly, but there's a free public one a short walk away (Windy Hill Lane) which we easily found a spot in on a very hot Saturday lunchtime.
Would definitely make another visit when we're next in the area, regardless...
Read moreFrequented this establishment at the weekend after many reviews. I’ve give it 4 stars because the vegan options were very good.
Vegan cheeses garlic bread: one of the best vegan garlic breads I’ve had
Normal pepperoni with mushroom: the sourdough is tremendous, I like a slightly firmer bottom where all the toppings don’t slide off personally but still tasty
Vegan nduja: another fantastic vegan pizza
Vegan vegetarian: looked lovely
Chips: top top chips
Chilli jam and pineapple dip: insane
Pint of their base ale: light ale, nice session drink
All in all a good pizza gaff, most pizzas run around £15 so not really cheap but probably...
