Small but intimate gin bar/boutique deli restaurant with excellent sharing platters as their speciality. A mixture of sharing platters were consumed between 7 of us including the cheese board, charcuterie board and a mixed platter of both plus a couple of pies. The proprietor was very knowledgeable about all of the meats and cheeses which were varied and plentiful. For starters the haggis scotch eggs were the favourite for the party but I had a sharing hot brie infused with truffle dish (To myself!). Drinks were again good and the gin range extensive. Nice touch to be asked which tonic I preferred. The red wine was decanted at the table and the prosecco was well chilled. Cakes only offered as a sweet but were all excellent again and the raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake was very special. Luckily no-one in the party shared mine! Very good value for a light supper option at £33.00 per head...

Me and my fiancé have lived in Marske-by-The-Sea for just over two years. We've been so busy that we're only just really starting to get into the groove of the place.

Rose and Potter is well worth a visit.

The first thing you notice is the atmosphere. It's just right. The lighting is soft and the walls are tastefully decorated. Timeless style. None of the fluff.

We had a mixed platter and a warm goats cheese salad. Everything on the plate was restaurant quality. They even cure their own meats. It's not often you see this kind of dedication in a wine bar.

Speaking of wine... Had it not been a school night, I'd have been all over it. Some of the bottles they have are of peerless origins that are rarely offered around these parts. For good measure, they stir an Old Fashioned. Whoever stocks the back bar clearly knows what they are doing.

Contacted Rose & Potter to book a surprise retirement / birthday party for my dad. Amanda was amazing from the beginning ensuring we had everything we wanted from talking through what they could do for the booking, providing sample menu options to help us pick from all the amazing food they do to creating us a playlist for the night.

We truly can’t thank Amanda, Ian and team enough for everything they did in the run up to and on the night. They helped make it such a special night and it’s safe to say Dad loved the surprise.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rose and Potter to anyone be it for a party, somewhere to pop into for food or for a delicious take away platter. True...
