So we found this place due to their incredible freakshakes on Instagram Location It's on the outskirts of the centre in a small arcade of shops. We found parking on the road fairly easy but can imagine that parking could be an issue. I would say overall it was easy to find and was located in a nice area. Interior This place is loved. It is very clear that the team take pride in their workspace. I found the cafe to be clean and the batista area is organised and often cleaned during the day. The decor is lovely and the toilets were well kept. The sign behind the counter is a very nice piece of interior design. Overall no complaints here Service Nice to see a small cafe with a healthy number of staff. I think they get very busy as there was a small army ready to serve. I found all interactions to be pleasant. I wouldn't say they went above and beyond but then again with our order of a freakshakes only it would have been strange for them to do anything which stood out at extraordinary. Food/drink We had the freakshake of the week which was Cadbury. Not going to lie, it was pure sugar and very indulgent. Just brilliant!! I will add that all the real food that they were serving to others looked great (even the toast and jam looked solid!) Price So I feel that this place is on the upper side of value, they are pushing it in terms of price but to be honest I would pay it again as the whole experience felt that little bit nicer than the ordinary cafe scene. What's an extra £1 or 2 for somewhere that you enjoy spending an hour or so! Overall If I lived closer I would pay this place a regular visit. I think it's a little gem in Bristols cafe scene.

Great customer service! The Beehive might look like a small business but god does it have quality or what! The prices are very fair and our Freak-shakes were simply amazing! So delicious! They have soya options available too which is really awesome and the whole place is really professional. Wether if it's a family day get together or if you just fancy a little treat then this is the place for you! I give this place a 5 star rating because the whole place is very clean, the staff are friendly and their is a ton of options for both food and drink, even for vegetarians too! They only accept cash though which isn't too much of a problem since their is a cash point literally 2 or 3 blocks down! I will definitely be coming back! 😊

This place looks like a café from the outside, but once you step in, you’ll find it serves a variety of Hong Kong-style stir-fried dishes and small plates. The flavors are authentic and haven’t been compromised to suit British tastes. We tried the poached beef in chili oil (Sichuan style), the salt and pepper squid, the dry-fried green beans, the soy sauce chicken, salt ans pepper pork chop and the stir-fried clams. Every dish was incredibly delicious and captured the true essence of Hong Kong cuisine. We also took some photos that show how appetizing everything looked. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Hong Kong flavors!

This was one of the worst dining experiences myself and my girlfriend have ever been on.

The menu is very limited with overpriced items making you think the food will be of good quality but it is definitely the opposite.

The starters we had included the crab claws which were some processed potato/crab lump with a crab claw shoved into it. The karage chicken which was just some cheap fried cut of chicken in a katsu coating and a side of dry salad.

The mains were the worst, yakisoba noodles that consisted of over done, baby food texture like udon noodles with cheap cuts of chicken dumped on a plate.

A cheesy seafood ramen bowl which was just cheap cheese product dumped on again, overdone disgusting udon noodles and topped with undercooked prawns, the irony is if they just cooked each of these items the opposite it would've been nicer.

And finally the katsu pork which first bite, was pure fatty gristle and then a side of cold lumpy katsu curry and hard rice. Overall the worst chinese meal I have had period.

The owner then had nerve, when asked to take the mains off of our bill, that the mains were some of their top sellers, bull**. And even when prompted to remove these items he returned with only 1 main taken off, anyone reading this do not ever choose to dine here, you will severely regret it! I fell victim to this fake highly rated place on first table...

decided to pay a visit and treat my son based on reviews but what we got was more then disappointed.......

1, NO TABLE SERVICE..was sitting there a while and nobody told us until we asked ( couldn't see any sign and i am pretty sure waiter said i'll b with u shortly) 2, coffee well presented but was served semi hot, 3, bacon sandwich £4 wasn't even real butter but some cheap spread (tasted grosse) with what i thought was reheated bacon, 4, but milkshakes was biggest disappointment ( made from cheapest ice cream you can possible buy ( i seen a box) and it showed when tasted. all this was topped with cheap and dry donut and everything was masked by aerosol spray cream.

Service really nice bit taking cash only (understand small business card charges but nowadays we got paypal, izettle, etc so shouldn't be excuse) I am in food business but bit i didn't get is if you decided to charge almost £7 for a milkshake please use best possible ingredients it will pay off in long run.

So i drove 12 miles for average shakes and well presented but semi hot coffee and big sandwich with poor quality ingredients.... WON'T BE...
