Bite Me Burger — Restaurant in England

Had made a booking for dining at the bite me Bite Me Burger in Marlborough had a voucher that a family member got us and when we turned up the place was closed and looked abandoned they did not even contact us to let us know that they were closed when they said they were opened time we turned up again it was still closed and the voucher then had expired 😕 very bad customer service with owners not phoneing as back when we found them multiple times but nobody answered when they said that it was meant to be open. In the end we glad we didn't even turn up in the first place to eat there because when we found out what meat they use it puts us off its called (Halal) meat) 🍖 witch is basically known as tortured animals where it is scard to death to make the meat taste better witch is disgusting and we don't support this as it is cruelty and should be banned. So please be aware of this information. We will never attempt to come here again thank God we found out the information in time ⏲ 🙏 🙌 Plus very customer service

Bite Me Burger will most likely come back saying they don't use this sort of meat and we'll try and get out of it but do not believe them as this has been informed by multiple customers who we have spoken with and interviewed in the past

Unfortunately wouldn't return.

After recommendation and in the local area. We thought giving this place a go.

Food/price

The food was overpriced and below standard. The bun clearly defrosted and the brioche sheen crumbling off. The chicken was really greasy and lacked any flavour. Slaw had lost its 'crunch'. I'm guessing this was old.

Wings lacked 'meat on the bone' coating was poor. Chicken looked pink and was greasy.

Menu

Food ordered from the menu, wasn't a reflection from the pictures. Was a disappointing when coming to the table.

The menu itself was very confusing and didn't follow any sort of order. Both of us couldn't make much sense of what was available. Also I'd expect to have more selection of chicken wings etc

Venue

Looking tired and needing a clean. We decided to pay and leave.

I didnt expect to find a open tobacco pouch on this side, where staff have been making their cigarettes.

Overall

Walked away wishing i had found a wetherspoons. Better standard and price. Slightly worried about my stomach now. Shouldn't leave a food place feeling that way.

Would not reccomend this place. With the current cost of living. You may want to find somewhere you have...

Absolutely awful. My friends took me here for a birthday treat today.

‘Welcomed’ by a rude mad who grunted and told us to take a seat at one of the dirty tables on offer.

Another couple next to us were complaining about their food which was mouldy, they were trying to get a refund whilst the rude man was swearing and trying to call the manager. (His phone linked to the sound system so we were listening to voicemail tones - nice touch)

We’re told the afternoon tea couldn’t be done for 3 even though it was pre booked and they menu says £25pp.

Our waitress was nice, and we felt sorry for her after complaining about the pathetic rip off of an afternoon tea we received as it wasn’t her fault. She has to deal with the kitchen who she told us had “been on a night out until 4am and were hungover”.
