Passing through on our way from High Wycombe to Shepton Mallet and stopped off to visit friends in Marlborough.
Unsure where we were being taken as we were walking further and further away from the High Street but seeing the tables all occupied on this sunny Saturday morning gave me confidence this was my type of cafe.
My friends hadn't booked but thankfully the owner gentleman allowed us to use a reserved table for an hour which suited us perfectly.
Two of us ordered the egg, bacon and sausage sandwich and our wives the brie, bacon and apple chilli jam toasties which were all perfect and throughly recommend. All washed down with hot chocolate and a variety of coffees.

Read moreI'm really disappointed. I popped in to order a treat lunch for my children and my parents. I ordered 4 baguettes and a sandwich. I got 2 baguettes, 2 sandwiches, and what was missing was the most expensive baguette. I got lettuce on all but only asked for 2. I was charged £34 for 5 items, but my mums brie and cranberry with bacon was missing. I had tried phoning several times over a couple hours to pre order but never got an answer. You'd think with 5 staff someone could man the phones and a large (ish) order could be correctly fulfilled. Orders had to be split so every one had something. I won't be visiting again as my confidence has been rocked....
Read moreWe visited yesterday at 1 o'clock hoping hoping to get a sandwich for lunch. We needed to be away just before 2 so asked if we would have time to order and eat and we told yes it should be OK. I then asked if they had a high chair and got an off hand response of no as it being used. Why have only 1 high chair? Having decided on our order we went to the counter to be told, again in a not really interested manner that it would be over half an hour wait.
