Two visits in recent weeks. First chanced upon a karaoke night and had a great time for a few hours. Second a planned day out from Dartford for their spring beer festival. Nice beer festival held in their back garden, nice choice of beers. Lovely friendly staff, not too expensive. Very community focused. LGBTQ+ friendly. In my opinion best real ale pub in Luton. Location - High Town, 2 mins or less walk from the train station. Also worth a visit (for historic interior only - no real ale) The Painters Arms just up the road.

Great cask ales on offer and Jenny (Bond) is a great bartender that will go above and beyond to make all of her customers feel welcome. Whether they are passing through or they are regulars. If you are ever in the area and want to feel like you are amongst the locals while enjoying a good pint stop here, you won't regret it.

Although they don’t serve food, they do have pub snacks, which are good. Super friendly bar team, who are super welcoming. Plenty of space, inside & out. Beautifully clean, across all areas, from bar, to seating (indoor & outdoor) & lovely clean toilets (some bars could take a lesson from these folks)

This is a really nice pub with plenty of guest ales, you always receive a warm welcome . They don't do food other than bar snacks. However, they occasionally have a bbq on in the rather large back garden which has had a significant makeover, the garage has been turned into another bar which has made a brilliant addition and eased the bottleneck in the pub on a matchday. It's always busy on a match day and is a popular pub with Luton fans. The new land lady is lovely and has some great ideas...

Lovely old school local. Popped in here today as had tried to visit someone in the area and they weren't home so had overbooked our parking. Reminded me of a pub from the middle of the last century. Where the locals know each other by their first names and will return even if they have moved away. Actually had a couple of oldsters who had moved to the coast arrive while we were there. Nice range of ales and beers as well as a real fire which was great...
