Went there one evening when there was next to no customers in the restaurant, ordered a seafood okra with Amala (also requested stew alongside) and Asaro. Also ordered drinks, which took about 10 minutes to arrive. At this point the waitress told us that the food would be arriving "shortly". Waited another 40 minutes before asking for an update, to which the waitress responded "another 20 minutes, the food is cooked fresh". By this time we were being subjected to loud and abrasive "naija politics" discussions being held by what seemed to be the owner and some of his friends. Another half an hour passed before the food arrived, throughout this time the shouting only increased despite the fact that all within whispering distance of each other. No-one else was in the restaurant and there was no music playing. Anyway, back to the food, the seafood okra finally arrived, 1 hour 20 minutes after it was ordered. It didn't come with the stew that was requested, that took another 10 minutes. Within the food was a large tilapia, which had clearly just been defrosted in the time that we had sat there waiting! We complained that the fish wasn't cooked, their solution was to take the fish away and re-cook it! I told my wife to take a picture of the fish as it was still pink inside but she decided to just refrain from eating it and eventually they took the food away. They then only refunded the money for the seafood when most establishments wouldn't have charged a penny for the whole experience. Also didn't provide receipt
I want to be constructive so here are some things that I would suggest as improvements:
Let customers know if food will take longer than half an hour. We will understand If food requires defrosting, you won't be able to serve it on that day, again simply let us know The ambience is key to restaurant experience. Nobody wants to hear you and your people shouting about Twitter's agenda against Buhari Once a customer has gone through such a horrible experience, do not persist in receiving payment from them. Your reputation is more important than the £35 that you ended up receiving. The restaurant was empty...
Read more5 stars well earned. I went there today with my mom, aunt, and cousins. The vibe of the place is amazing and they had gotten a dj just before we left so I was sad that I didn’t get to dance. The customer service is in point because the waitresses are always trying to accommodate u and make you feel at rest. The fact that we can experience so many different options made me happy. We had jollof rice, Abula, pounded yam and some soup that resembled efo but was also very delicious. The serving and presentation of the food tells u that time and patience was put into the making of your meal❤️. When we had to pay we payed to the the Chef and the Chef later treated us to suya which tastes like the one you eat in Nigeria. He accommodated us well and talked about our countries the he later gave us shawarma just as we were leaving and it taste heavenly. After eating you probably would still crave more ❤️❤️❤️. Thank you so much to dudubar and we look forward to u coming to Houston, we’ll accommodate u just as well!

Read moreVery very poor customer service
First their food is quite pricey compared to other restaurants but more importantly, they have very distasteful customer service. After an order is placed, it takes at least an hour to get served with no communication about the timeline. They have a habit of leaving customers for an indefinite time not knowing when the food will arrive.
When we confronted the manager about this after about 45 mins, we were told the food would be available in 10 mins. Sadly it not only took another 30 mins but the servers were incredibly rude about it. The manager ended up apologising to only one of us when there were clearly 5 people on the table. The ‘excuse’ was that the servers were fairly new and being trained.
I came all the way from Birmingham and it seemed natural to visit an African restaurant but monopoly has taken a huge chunk of the business offering and what’s left is just an apology of a service.
There should be a review less than one because they ruined...
