All I can say is tomorrow night's dinner will be from Just Eat. Food was not great, I have had better for less money, this is 1990s motorway service station/Last days of little chef standard stuff. Draught soft drinks are hideously over priced. No options for smaller portions for under 5s. Oh and the service was pants, ordered a dessert, after 30minutes as they tidied the restaurant around us, eventually decided to tell us they'd run out of custard. This is only the first night I hope the park actually makes up for this, but first impressions I think it's going to be disappointing. ....A year later and a year of mostly negative reviews a big leisure co. will of course have taken action? Nah, same old. If your from the sticks like me where Just Eat has 10 offerings you will be overwhelmed by the choice, they all seemed used to delivering to hotel, and will ring you to.pick up.from reception, your food will be nicer, better value and inexplicably warmer than anything you'll get from Bricks, yep even after 20 minutes on the passenger seat of a Corsa. Breakfast...OK how do Premiere Inn manage a fantastic buffer breakfast and Travel Lodge an acceptable breakfast for an all in cost of around £100 a night, Bricks manages to produce a breakfast I'd be disappointed to get from a £30 a night BnB. It's cold, seriously cold peeling apart bacon rashers to find a thick white residue of cold fat is pretty unappealing (and I like bacon, I mean I really like bacon). Not even a decent coffee machine. I have always said 'It's impossible to make a poor cooked breakfast' Bricks have taken up the challenge and run with it big style. It's sad that the park do not see fit to do anything about the food, its a major fly in the ontiment of the experience. I don't mind the prices being high, but I want the food to be of say Harvester quality, it simply isn't, its not even school dinner quality. It needs to be sorted

It's a theme park restaurant... prices are premium.. but you know what it ain't half bad. Not sure why all the negative reviews. Yeah it's a bit pricy but look at where you are... at £500 a night in the hotel!! Breakfast was plentiful. There is a set list and you can have a much as you want of it. Kids had a cereal set. They chose rice crispies, it also had 2 croissants a banana and a yogurt. They also had kids full English sausage, bacon, egg, beans and toast. Adults had a full English and also pancakes. I had to leave some. Evening meal yeah was £75 but we had 2 kids garlic dough balls and 2 adult mushrooms on sour dough slice. Then 4 burgers and fries, kids were lego shaped fries. Both were really tasty. Then kids had brownie and the other ice cream. I had ice cream and partner had chocolate tart. All again was plentiful and nice. Staff were amazing and helpful. In the evening I asked for a coke I said how do I pay as you pre pay your meal when you enter he said don't worry enjoy!!! I booked breakfast on the 2nd day went down and they couldn't find my booking, you get a text when you book your meal, I said oh I got a text they said that's fine don't worry ill get you in if you have booked. Didn't even ask to see the text and got us a table fine. Overall the kids said it was 5 star and loved it and let's be honest were going for the kids not a fine dining experience!!!! To put it in proportion we ate at a beefeater upon leaving and 2 adult burgers and chips 2 kids pizza and sides of fries 2 kids ice cream and 2 adult puddings was £60... so bricks was only 15 quid more with starters and both were good for IMHO.

PRICES ARE EXTORTIONATE FOR TINY PORTIONS!!! Food tasted okay tbf, but £24.99 adults and £15.99 kids for 3 tiny courses was a mickey take. Kids under 3 get it free, which is at least a small concession. Service was a bit mixed; polite friendly waitress, but quite slow taking orders, clearing away, bringing the bill, etc. and they cleared all the cutlery from the starters, but forgot to bring more out, so our food was going cold for 5 mins while we waited for knives and forks. They bought out plenty of jugs of tap water with ice when requested though. They have really missed the mark here in terms of the fayre required by their target market; families with young kids. It should be cheap and cheerful with decent portion sizes, akin to pub grub. Instead they’ve got the ridiculous prices, and try to do fancy-ish adult meals with tiny portions. Fortunately grandma was generous enough to pay (but she refused to add a tip as she felt the prices were already too steep to warrant paying any extra). They do have some entertainers walking around (though not sure what characters were meant to be; better if they had someone in an iconic Lego figure outfit), and the Lego theme and outside play area (while waiting between courses) was a hit with the kids. Hence 2 stars on balance.

Absolutely awful! Where to start...The food was terrible and massively over priced. We looked online before arriving and it showed the standard menu which sounded amazing. On arrival we were told it was a christmas menu and nk standard menu despite no sign of a festive menu online. Our mushroom starter came out cold so we sent it back. Another was brought to us this time with untoasted ciabatta but we just tolerated that. We had asked if our children's food could be brought out at the same time as starters but they weren't. We then had to wait another 35 minutes after starter for simple children's pasta to be brought out with our main. I had turkey dinner which was disgusting. The turkey was a funny colour, the parsnip was cold and so hard I couldn't cut through it. The cabbage was so salty to the point it stung my mouth and when I attempted to cut a stuffing ball it flew off my plate...in fact if someone had of been on the next table it would have likely knocked them out. My husband had "braised beef"...his small wedge of over priced beef was like a door stop. He couldn't eat it. His veg also very poorly cooked. The waiter was quite miserable which is sad to see at such an exciting family theme park. I dont know what was more miserable, his face or the food. That said, when we complained he did take the main courses off our bill. Thank god as it was bad enough paying half the bill for the shocking food. We saw lots of food left on plates walking out. In the lift on route back to our room we bumped in to a guest who was carrying dominoes pizza boxes..he and his family had also been left hungry after a shocking dinner experience in the brick restaurant so had gone out to get take away pizza. Lucky we Brough snacks with us to eat in our room. Don't bother with this place, hugely over priced and horrible. I only clicked 1 star because I had to in order to leave a review..would have happily given it 0 stara. Such a let down after a great day...

We we in a group of three couples and six children aged from one to five. We had a great day in the actual Legoland park and had booked into the bricks resultant as we didn't want to drive.

Things got off to a bad start with our server had had no idea how to operate his tablet blaming the new system. Through out the night we constantly got the wrong drinks not once but three times! Confidence was low...

We had children's meals on screaming hot plates just dumped at the far end of the table and it went on like this rude staff just dumping plates on the table in seemingly random places.

What really pushed us over the edge was a piece of blue plastic in one of the childerens fish and chips meal. We asked to speak to the manager about 10 times and again we were just ignored by the rude staff.

When we finally spoke to the manager she did deal with the situation well and gave us a discount on our bill. I felt sorry for her as she was probably dealing with multiple complains that night! She was the only one professional I saw all night.

We ordered pudding and still it all went wrong we got food with no cutlery, jug of water no glasses, we started clearing our own plates as the rude staff didn't want to.

I was glad to leave and can honestly say that was the worst meal and service I have ever had! Your local Wetherspoons makes this place look like a five star resultant!

There is a major problem at Legoland with food service and the kiosks in the park aren't much better staffed by staff who either don't care or aren't trained??

If you go to Legoland the park and hotel are great just bring your own food and eat your evening meal in...
