A Rollercoaster of Culinary Adventures with Stacey and Hannah at The Bridge Builder Restaurant!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars
Oh, where do I even begin with our dining escapade at The Bridge Builder Restaurant? Stacey and Hannah took us on a culinary rollercoaster that left us with taste buds doing cartwheels and laughter echoing through the restaurant!
Let's talk about the star of the show – the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. My sister, who's a self-proclaimed onion ring connoisseur, was slightly disappointed with the meager portion of two onion rings. But fret not, for Hannah swooped in with her charm and reassured us that the best was yet to come.
As we waited patiently, the salad on my plate seemed to mirror our anticipation – a tad bit unhappy. However, the moment the remaining dishes graced our table, the culinary magic unfolded. The wrap itself was a work of art, a beautiful masterpiece that almost made the wait worthwhile. It's safe to say our taste buds did a standing ovation!
We were made well aware of how to tell the difference between coke zero and normal coke , somthing do to with limes and lemons which was a refreshing peice of knowledge.
Now, let's talk about the unsung hero of our dining experience – the tables. Stacey, the table magician, worked her cleaning sorcery, leaving the surfaces so pristine that I could literally see my own reflection. Forget about spotless, these tables were practically mirrors! Stacey, you've turned table cleaning into an art form, and we appreciate it.
In conclusion, our journey at The Bridge Builder Restaurant was an adventure filled with highs, a few surprises, and a lot of laughs. Stacey and Hannah, you turned what could have been a regular dining experience into a memorable and entertaining feast. We'll be back for more – perhaps with a magnifying glass to fully appreciate those immaculate tables!
Cheers to Stacey, Hannah, and the entire Bridge Builder team for an unforgettable dining experience! ⚓🍔🥗🌮👏 #TableGoals #CulinaryAdventure...
Read moreMy friends and I make the effort to go to this pub at least once a month, since it's close by and the food is fairly decent. However on this particular occasion we were ID’d for our alcoholic drinks, which we aren't usually ID’d despite being regulars, so naturally our IDs weren't out at the ready and we had to dig through our bags to retrieve them. Yes we should have had our IDs ready, but the staff member rolling his eyes whilst huffing and puffing felt extremely rude.
One of our friends didn't have our ID so understandably, was told they were allowed to drink alcohol despite the fact we were all 27. But we said that was fair enough, just the law. We apologised for not having ID and returned the drinks that the one particular friend had ordered and ordered a pint of coke instead. However, despite complying to the instructions of not to drink alcohol and returning the drinks, the member of staff (who I believe was called Jay) was incredibly hostile to us. His tone was very aggressive and he warned us that if he caught our ID-less friend drinking he would refuse to serve us, which felt very unnecessary considering we had been so compliant up to now.
Jay was rude, aggressive and seemed like he wanted us to kick up a fuss. I understand completely not being allowed to drink without any ID, but I felt like there was no need for his tone and attitude and how antagonist this member of staff was. We tried to move on from it and enjoy our meal but the staff was staring at us the entire time and made us feel very unwelcome, even after we ordered numerous nonalcoholic drinks.
I understand that laws and regulations must be followed, however I don't think there was any justification for how rude and impolite the staff was and I really hope the hirer ups consider providing more training for him as he clearly has no...
Read moreDont bother going unless you have too much time on your hands. Booked a table for 6pm for 6 guests. Arrived early, asked to add another adult to the table. Table no problem as there was lots of empty table. Gave them a birthday cake to bring out later. So 5 adults and 2 children. A birthday meal for my son in law who is 35 and my grandson (his son) who is 8 years old. We ordered our meals. One adult ordered off the app. 2 adults and 2 kids ordered at the bar and the other 2 adults ordered at the bar. The person who ordered from the app got their starter after 30 minutes. The others starters took 1 hour 5 minutes to come. The person who ordered on the app got her main meal just after we had finished our starters. Our main meal arrived another 45 minutes later and the starters hadn't been cleared away. They brought out 2 meals, steak & chips, waffles & chicken both COLD, had to be returned, another 2 meals arrived both wrong. One wasnt ordered. Kids meals arrived ok. Then last meal fish and chips. Had to be sent back half way through meal as it had macaroni cheese under the fish. We had desserts. No problem there. At 8.15 we asked them to bring the cake out. At 8.55 i went up to the bar and asked for the cake and the box so we could leave. So 3 hours. Bad meals. One member of staff with serious attitude problems. Upset patents and an 8 year old crying his eyes out because he didnt get his cake. They did refund the cost of the meal that wasnt ordered but charged for and the fish and chips. The was no reason why it took so long as the restaurant wasn't busy. Oh and remember to take your own cutlery as they dont like giving you any. Next time you thinking of going there, drive past and go...
