It taken me a day to write my review as I’m still quite overwhelmed by how poor my pink champagne afternoon tea was that I treated my daughter and myself to yesterday. To think I paid Ā£80 for us both is quite shocking for what we received. Yes we informed you of a seafood allergy before our arrival surely you had more of an option to offer us. Two dried up finger sandwiches which consisted of one cheese and pickle and the other dried slither of ham. Our server looked like she didn’t want to be there constantly questioning our allergies yet we had already done this prior to our arrival. To think that just a standard afternoon tea only cost Ā£25 we paid Ā£15 for a small glass of pink champagne. Yes you are one of many chains that probably have better locations than yours which probably warrants the price but not for what we were presented with yesterday. The list could go on but I feel I’d be wasting my time. The whole experience summed up your toilets shocking.

Looking out for breakfast spots and we are super glad that we chanced upon Browns. A quaint old place with simple and modern colours makes the place feel cozy for a warm Sunday brunch. Out of the options, we chose the Mushroom Omelette with some Sourdough Toast to go with and the Berries and Cherries Buttermilk Pancakes. The orders come through warm to make the bites fuzzy. The omelette has mushroom, spinach, cheddar with cherry tomatoes and olive oil. With the sourdough toast the taste is just exceptional. The buttermilk pancakes are stacked and drizzled with greek style yogurt and berries that give you a kick of sour and sweet. Overall we just loved the place and hope we could visit soon to try the other options on the menu.

During my recent lunch at Brown's Restaurant in Beaconsfield, I had the pleasure of being served by Natalie, a fantastic and friendly waiter. Natalie's exceptional service truly made my dining experience memorable. Her warm smile, attentiveness to detail, and genuine interest in ensuring our satisfaction were truly commendable. Natalie's knowledge of the menu and her recommendations added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like valued guests. I was thoroughly impressed by Natalie's hospitality and would highly recommend Brown's Restaurant in Beaconsfield for both its delicious food and outstanding service.

I visited on a weekend for a family meal recently and the minute you enter the car park, you know you’re being looked after.

Parking is complimentary (enter your reg no. when you arrive) and when I got out the car you could hear the music playing in the bar garden.

We were seated within minutes and offered the ā€œSundayā€ menu which has extra ā€œSunday Roastā€ meals, a few minutes passed and drinks were ordered, they brought one wrong drink and this was corrected immediately. Food was on order and the turnaround was very quick and our waiter was running at least 4-6 tables and was very friendly, patient and very professional.

The food, all fantastic, steak, fish and chips plus the schnitzel were spot on, great temperature, ideal portion size and cooked to perfection, if anything there was too much food but we didn’t complain, desserts were offered and they were also good and any problems (I think a certain flavour wasn’t available) was pointed out immediately.

The waiter and service staff, in fact anyone I interacted with was professional, courteous and polite, and I would recommend this a place to come for any occasion, they even do events and I’m sure they would do that well.

If I’m being picky, our seats were a bit warm and uncomfortable but this style of seating is very ā€œinā€ at the moment but then again when the sun is in someone’s eyes and the staff move quick to get the blinds down - you soon forget that.

Now for this service, food and in this location you will pay a more premium price, but that’s completely worth it for the experience we...

Two of us booked in for 1530 on Sunday 27 Nov. We ordered cocktails and they came in good time and were fine. We also ordered a jug of tap water at same time as the cocktails. Another two asks later we got our water. Our roast was delicious and plentiful but could have been a little hotter. We ordered Yorkshire puddings as an extra. After 10 mins of eating our roast we had to ask for them as they had been forgotten. We ordered a large rum and coke and were presented with a single. Glass taken away and double brought back. Dessert menus given to us. We were going to order but after waiting 25 mins with no member of staff coming near us, we asked for the bill. This came promptly! We asked to see the manager to give constructive feedback which we did. The manager took on board our comments and apologised. The restaurant was not understaffed and it wasn't over busy. The serving team are all very young but after being open for over 2 months, all teething issues should have been resolved. Would we go again? Probably not. The Greyhound is fabulous with fantastic food and service. Brasserie Blanc is similar to Browns but their staff are on a different level being super attentive, efficient and friendly. With so many good places to eat in Beaconsfield, Browns need to up their...
