We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and were told that although our table was ready, they wanted to stagger diners so we were told to go to the bar. We ordered a rum and coke and the salted caramel espresso martini. The espresso martini definitely tasted like a regular espresso martini with some salted caramel Popcorn on top. However, I love espresso martini's so I was good! We were seated at our table by 19.15, however the service was fairly poor. We had to flag our server down to take our food order, only to be told that the dish we wanted to order was unavailable. I ordered the chicken roti, the chicken was dry, but it was still flavourful and the vegetables and mash potato it came with were delicious. I ordered the cheese for dessert and has a glass of piquepoul to drink. I love the interiors at this place, it is beautiful. And this wasn't my first time coming here. However, I must say the service let this place down. I had to flag our server down to take our food order and then our dessert order and to ask for the bill. There was no attentiveness whatsoever. However, we could see other tables being looked after so I'm putting this down to an issue with our server. I will go back to this place, I'm just not sure when. For two mains, two desserts and two drinks including service we paid £111.

Good quality cuisine, informal atmosphere. We took advantage of a Virgin voucher to have a 3 course set menu with a glass of house wine for 2 on a Friday night which was busy but not overly. I had the vegan options: the Moroccan Mezze starter was excellent (lush aubergine, artichoke, humus, salad, bread). The butternut squash main was good with some Tabasco but slightly dry without the feta and the mango crumble quite nice but maybe a bit too much crumble. My arch enemy enjoyed her chicken liver parfait with gluten free bread, excellent duck leg confit and was able to swap in a gluten free chocolate fondant with ginger with the only complaint being about over indulgence. Overall a pleasant evening and I wish there was a Brasserie Blanc closer to home. We parked opposite the church and walked 5mins round the corner.

The service at the restaurant was good, though the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. Parking was quite limited, which made things a bit stressful. Unfortunately, my overall experience was negatively affected by an encounter with a UKPC attendant stationed in the backyard parking lot. While I briefly stopped to drop off my wife and child, he aggressively attempted to issue a ticket. When I asked for his name and ID number, he shouted, “Go or I’ll book you!” A nearby woman who witnessed the incident quietly advised me to take a photo, commenting, “He’s nasty.” This kind of behavior was deeply unsettling and disappointing.

Well where do I begin. We have been to this place many times before, we have always received fantastic service, good was excellent.

Unfortunately we will NEVER be returning to this place ever again. It's funny how 1 person can ruin your experience and ruin the reputation of a well established restaurant.

We had a table for 3 booked to celebrate my husband's birthday. Cocktails where ordered whilst we relaxed in the bar area. We should have realised then that it would end up in disaster. We ordered 2 pornstar martinis and a ginger beer... well, we received 2 very weak porn star martinis less one vital ingredient the passion fruit... the one ingredient that you expect in such a drink.. . When asked, we were told they didn't have any... what the hell.. . It was only 5pm! The ginger ale was brought to us even though we had ordered ginger beer.

When we where ready to be seated we where aggressively approached by a man who later we found out was the restaurant manager. I am astounded how an establishment like this could recruit such a rude, vile and unprofessional person. He definitely lacks hospitality skills.

He proceeded to take us to our table.. . The furthest table in the restaurant, we asked politely if we could be seated somewhere else (bearing in mind there was only 2 other adults plus their child in the restaurant) every single table available except 1. He abruptly replied with a NO... we asked why, only to be told because I say so, if you don't like it I suggest you leave.

We where amazed by this man's aggressive reaction. We have dined in many restaurants all over the world and have never had such a rude reaction from an employee let alone the manager, who should know better.

As you could appreciate we where very upset to his response that we asked him who was above him in management to which he replied.. . There is no-one higher than me expect God! At this point we could not bear to stay there to dine to be treated like this.

I am utterly disgusted and I will not let this rest, this man should not be customer facing as he does not have any people skills. I strongly recommend that this establishment revaluate their management staff and employ someone who has strong people skills and mist of all someone who respects other human beings.

I would like to personally thank you for opening our eyes and changing our opinion of this restaurant. You ruined my husband's birthday celebration which I will never forgive or forget. I will openly advice potential new customers of your disgraceful behaviour.

Because of your disgraceful behaviour we decided to go to Crazy Bear, there we received a fantastic service and the food was amazing.

So Brasserie Blanc, thank you once again for your rudeness, unprofessionalism and for ensuring we will never return back to your establishment.

To all other fello diners hope you have a better experience than...

I visited with a good friend who has been here before, I'm now embarrassed to say that I didn't this was on my own doorstep, but I'm very happy I found it.

The service was completely on point from the minute you step in to the time you left, our waiter was patient, had a good sense of humour and ran his tables like a complete professional, adapted his approach to different tables, and was beyond professional, top drawer service.

Next - the food, was absolutely amazing, every single thing I was served was the correct temperature, tasted amazing and was the first restaurant to understand that coffee doesn't need to served scolding hot from the machine so I can enjoy it straightaway, I had the burger and ice cream - and even though it's a staple everywhere it's small attentions to detail that set this apart which also made this dish very flavoursome.

The decor is very classic but with a modern touch - even though tables are close, for some reason it never feels cramped and it was a busy Friday night and the place was full of patrons.

This venue has managed to combine, service, atmosphere and food into a great experience for everyone, whether it be big gatherings, family's or just yourself, I really do think they would look after you.

I'd never been tempted to want to give an extra star, but this place truly deserves it, I'm fully aware it's a chain and may suit everyone's budget but I'd prefer to pay extra for the feeling this place leaves you with.

This one makes my personal top three, for service, food and feeling. Well done Brasserie Blanc...
