I usually love going to bunk but I had a really horrible experience on Friday. I was made a drink by the bartender and he was friendly and polite however my drink didn’t taste right it was really watery and my friend tried it also and she agreed. I have also had this drink before and it didn’t taste like the one I was given. I really didn’t want to embarrass the employee so I told a different employee about how it didn’t taste right she was pretty argumentative and told me they wouldn’t make a new drink ‘because it wasn’t to my taste’. She was very rude and told me it had been made correctly but did eventually offer to remake the drink and had clearly been taking badly about me to the guy that had made my drink when I approached the bar offered no apologies or even checked to see if the remade drink had been better (which it was). I felt the situation has been handled really poorly I had been very polite and even said I didn’t want to complain. After having problems with the ordering app and no staff around to offer assistance, we got told the bar was now closed. Our friends had successfully managed to place an order and when we finally managed to explain the situation they agreed to take our order by pen and paper. The 2 cocktails and one beer arrived after about 10 minutes and 5 minutes after that, we were being ordered to neck our drinks and leave. Despite the fact that they clearly had cleaning up etc to do and being the only customers left and tucked away in the corner, we were not in the way or causing any delay to their work. The barmaid was rude and sarcastic and clearly has a lot to learn regarding promoting responsible drinking. Asking guests to neck alcoholic drinks is not responsible. Second round not enough staff on the floor and the staff which was left had shocking customer service. Firstly Ray ( apologies for spelling ) unreal waitress highly rate her as for her Manager Emma ( I believe) her customer service was awful and shouldn’t work in a bar.
Soo secondly after the dreadful service I ordered on the app to get served and surprise even that wasn’t working. Taken £30.40 out of my account and no drinks. Spoke to the lovely Ray again tried to sort but couldn’t so asked for the manager and what a horrible impression she gave shocking customer service, basically fobbed me off and told to call Monday which is ridiculous.
