Buon Gusto is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a warm, authentic Italian welcome that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.

The ambiance is charming and inviting, blending rustic Italian charm with a modern twist. The aroma of freshly baked bread and simmering sauces fills the air, instantly transporting you to the streets of Italy.

The menu is a celebration of classic Italian cuisine, showcasing fresh, locally sourced ingredients alongside traditional recipes. The handmade pasta is a must-try—each bite bursts with flavor and authenticity. The wood-fired pizzas are perfectly crisp, topped with delicious combinations that cater to every taste. And let’s not forget the desserts—the tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had, rich and indulgent with just the right balance of coffee and cream.

The staff at Buon Gusto are attentive, friendly, and passionate about providing exceptional service. They make you feel like part of the family, ensuring every detail of your visit is just perfect.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a fantastic meal, Buon Gusto is the place to be. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience that captures the heart and soul of Italy. Highly...

Table for 4, Saturday evening Seemed quite nice when we arrived. Food came Starters were nice Mains came very quickly - got one main course wrong. 3 started to eat and took mine away. Correct dish came very quickly indeed - almost too quickly for a fresh pasta dish It all seemed the same pasta sauces with different fillings. Very samey! Not a true Italian - made fresh to order. After finishing main courses, they asked us if we would like desserts or coffees We said no for now and then they promptly asked us if we would like the bill? We still had our drinks to finish They brought the bill straight away and card machine at the same time. We paid and continued to enjoy our wine. They promptly came over and asked us if we could leave as they needed our table I still had half a glass of wine We had literally been there just over and hour. The staff were curt, not interested in customer service and the whole place seemed rushed. We would never go back Really bad Saturday night choice for a nice relaxing evening with...

Just had our first meal out with the kids since the easing of lockdown and had a great experience. Almost felt like a holiday. Table was booked for 4 people for a Friday evening using the form on the restaurant's website (confirmation was actually sent to spam, but fortunately I spotted it). The setting is a bit noisy due to local traffic, but this didn't detract from the great food and service. The food was quality Italian with plenty of flavour. My husband had the mussels in white wine to start and it smelled delicious. The pizzas were generous and I couldn't fault my chicken in lemon with rosemary/garlic potatoes. Starters and drinks were served quickly and a reasonable gap was left for the mains. The staff were friendly and jokey with my youngest, which she enjoyed. There were heaters and blankets on hand as well as hand sanitiser on the table and at the entrance. This was our first time eating here as we don't often go to Harrogate, but I would definitely recommend and...

Mama Mia, where do I even begin?! Zero complaints here, just pure culinary bliss. My friend and I kicked things off by sharing the mussels in white wine sauce, and she practically declared if she had to drown in any liquid, that would be it. High praise indeed, and I wholeheartedly agree! The focaccia bread with tomato and cheese was equally superb – super fresh, incredibly flavourful. For the main event, I opted for the lamb shank in red wine sauce with mash, and it somehow got even better. The flavours were unbelievable, and the freshness was palpable in every bite. We also tried both the veggie and seafood tortellini, and honestly, it's the best I've had outside of Italy itself. My only regret is living 300 miles away, otherwise, this would be a regular spot for me. If you're looking for fantastic Italian food with impeccable service in a chic setting, you absolutely have to check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Despite being small, Buon Gusto makes up for its size with on-point service, a well-decorated enterior, and filling food! Upon entering, it's a beautiful atmosphere with a bar head-on and modern furnished seating areas. The staff are welcoming and friendly - quick to seat customers and take their orders. We ordered off the set 2 course priced at £18.99 and, for our first time visiting, we had low expectations. However, we were quickly blown away! Usually, in finer restaurants like this, I expect the portions of set menus to be dainty, but they were filling, well-presented, and truly delicious! And the mains..! You can definitely expect to get your moneys worth with their dishes as the portions are BIG! Me and my family struggled to get through the last mouthfuls, and we even heard a table behind us remark about how filling they were. We couldn't resist but force room and order a dessert! Would definitely recommend it.

Harrogate’s hidden little diamond. Visited this restaurant for my birthday and loved every minute of it. We had pizza bread for starters with olives, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and a selection of bread. The pizza bread was fresh and tasted really good. Mains was pasta with meatballs. The offering was very generous. Very tasty. Steak was unreal. Cooked perfectly (medium) and the peppercorn sauce really complimented this along with the chips. I have to compliment the chef. Even the chips were lovely and crispy. Staff were very friendly. Met the owner and had a really good chat, laughing throughout our visit. Cost was very reasonable at £88 plus tips considering we were eating in Harrogate. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED We will definitely return on our next visit to Harrogate. Thank you 🙏
